I was starting to like things around here. The horses, the people, wait except for Haley so far. Garrett is my favorite.
This oldish guy walks up to me in mid thought.......
"You must be Terra, I'm Jack."
"Hey Jack!"
"Alright Terra you will have to earn your keep."
"Uh-oh!"
He laughed at that comment but I didn't.
"You will have to muck out the stalls, groom the horses, check water, feed them, and take lessons from Garrett. K?"
As he said this I was in my own world. Garrett training me. Dream come true.
"Terra?"
"What?"
"Did you here that?"
"Yay, yay!"
Garrett then stepped closer to the conversation.....
"Alright I will show you everything. Follow me!"
He took me on this tour and thought me everything. Like check the water, if empty fill it. Also at 5 am and 6 pm feed them, but in this certain way. The whole way his dreamy eyes is where I was looking.
"Alright Terra, do you get it?"
"Yes sir!"
"Now your lessons start first thing tomorrow!"
"K"

As am sitting on the bench watching the sun set I hear...........
"Terra! Dinner time!"
