Nona's POV

Those three words easily came out of my mouth but meant it. He even said -almost a whisper- them minutes ago when he's in my room, confessing. I know it's too early to say them since we've known each other for three months? Yeah three months. In that timeline, we've got our ups and downs; and we're not even together. But you see, I know how hard I've been falling for me and surely, I'd end up being so in love with him. I know we both meant those words and I don't and never be regretting them coming out from my mouth for heart had spoken for me. Are we being pathetic for saying it towards each other? Well, Niall's grin worth to say those words.

"I love you." he said, audible this time.

I grin at him just like how he's grinning at me. I believe that action speaks louder than words so I cupped his face and kiss him once more. Each kiss we share is different with the other. It could give me goosebumps. Sometimes, an electricity current goes through my whole body. The other would be those sappy butterflies in my stomach. This time, I could sense there's a firework show in me. God. Only Niall can make me feel these things. Only Niall.

We pulled away moments later and we're both gasping for air. He rests his forehead on mine as his blue orbs look at my dark brown eyes. I close my eyes eventually, enjoying every moment we have. We're still sitting on the stairs, I mean, he is while I'm on his lap. We're on a very strange position but I don't mind at all. I open my eyes when Niall pulls away.

"Look at you," he scanned me and I blush at the thought of him checking me out. "In baggy band shirt, leggings and bare footed."

"I'm wearing yoga pants, not leggings." I corrected.

"Aren't they the same?" he pinched the navy blue material between his thumb and index finger.

"Nope," I chuckled a bit.

"You look cold. Your feet are white." he changed the topic.

"Nope, I'm not." I answered because it's true.

His body is a good source of heat to keep me warm. But of course, I wouldn't admit it to him. It sounds inappopriate or whatever you call it.

"C'mon. Dress something warm and we're going out." and he stood up still holding me, bridal style.

I put my arms around his neck, "Out?"

"I'll take you on our first date." he beams.

"Date?" I raised my brow at him.

"Ride around the town, walk to the park. Grab some ice cream. Those are the common activities on a date." he rolls his eyes and can't help but to giggle.

"I know what a date is. I just can't believe that you're asking, I mean, demanding me to go out with you." I blushed.

"Oi! It's not a demand. I just want to spend my first day of the year with you." he defended the chuckles later on.

"If you want me to get dress then you must put my feet on the floor and let me walk up back to my flat." I told him wiggling my legs in the process.

"Not happening." he shook his head while his eyes are closed. He looks really cute right now.

"Tell me why?" I demand.

"I'll carry you all the way."

"No. I'm heavy."

"You weigh like a match stick."

"Shut up and put me down. I've got two feet, duh."

"No, you shut up." he jokingly told me. "I won't let you walk barefooted. End of story."
