Nona's POV

I woke up with the crashing sound -I bet- came from the kitchen. I rose to my feet to see what's going on. I opened up my door and made my way to the kitchen just to find Niall struggling with the pans.

"Niall, are you alright?" I asked him sweetly.

"Good morning, babe. Did you sleep well?" he asked instead of answering my question.

"Good morning and yeah, I did sleep well. Do you need help?" I offered.

"No, I'm fine. I can do this." he smiled at me. "Why don't you take a sit and wait? I'm almost done."

"Okay."

As the good girl I was, I complied to his wishes and sit on one of the counter stools. I put my elbows on top of the counter then held my head with both hands while my eyes followed his every movement. He briskly beated the egg and put it on the heated pan. On the other pan, he flipped the bread. I noticed that there's a dark brown substance on a plate that was set a side.

"Uhm, Niall. What's on the plate?" I curiously asked pointing the specific plate.

"That one? It's bacon, burnt bacon." he mumbled the last words.

I giggled, "I'll prepare the table."

"We can eat on the counter." he suggested.

"Then that's what we're gonna do."

I got two plates then other utensils. I grabbed the large carton of orange juice from the fridge and set it on the counter along with the utensils.

"Should I make us tea?" I question as Niall flipped another bread.

"We'll make it later when we get back." he answered.

"'When we get back?' Where are we going?" I sat back to my previous post.

Niall settled the French toasts, scramble eggs and the burnt bacon on the counter then joined me.

"We're going to walk outside. You've been asking about it last night." he grinned.

"You mean, we're going to the beach?" he nodded and I'm excited about it.

"Let's eat?" he proposed. "This should be a breakfast in your bed."

"Are you saying, you should be bursting in my room with the 'good-morning-princess' smile while holding a tray of not-so-scrambled egg, French toast that looks like a pancake and the burnt bacon?"

"Yeah, just like what you said." he pouted.

"But you see, it's not like in the movies. If you didn't let the pans go crashing on the floor, I would be on my bed right now with a 'what-a-sappy-boyfriend-I-have' grin." I teased.

"Go eat." he commanded. "I didn't know you're this talkative."

"Well now you know." and I pecked his pouted lips. "Go eat."

He watched me took a bite of everything before he asked if it's good.

"The not-so-scrambled egg was good. The French toast was too soft since it got soaked on the egg batter for a while. And the bacon, it still tastes bacon but it's too crispy. Best breakfast ever!" I beamed.

"Did you say the last just to make me feel horrible for making a disastrous breakfast?" he pouted even more. What's with the pouting today?

"Of course not! It's not that bad. Try it yourself." and I motioned the fork towards his mouth with pieces of everything.
