~Two weeks later~
The front door opened slowly, Naeun walking in the apartment trying not to make a single noise. After taking off her shoes she closed the door and walked on her tiptoes to the kitchen. She put the cake she had just bought on the counter and searched for a birthday canddle and put it on the cake, lighting it afterwards.
She grabbed the cake again and walked to her housemate's bedroom, walking in.
"Happy birthday to you. . . . Happy birhtday to you. . . . Happy birthday, dear Eunji. . . ." She sang, making Eunji wake up in a sudden. "Happy birthday to you." She finished singing when she was next to her.
"What's this?" She asked, asleep, but showing a smile.
"Make a wish! Hurry!" She told her. Eunji did what she was told and blew it. Naeun left the cake on the nighstand and clapped to then hug her. "Happy birthday, love!"
"Thank you." She giggled. "Wow, that cake looks delicious. Where did you buy it?"
"Yah! I made it!" She exclaimed, offended. Eunji looked at her with a frown. "Just kidding. I bought it in the pastry shop of the neightbourhood.
"I knew it!" She laughed.
"Pff," she muttered. "Get ready to have breakfast."
"Yes, sir." She got up from bed to go get a shower.
Naeun grabbed the cake and took it to the kitchen again. She placed it in the middle of the table and looked for small plates and spoons, placing them in the table to then go finish getting ready for college.
After finishing getting ready they went to have breakfast, and just when they were going to sit down the doorbell rang. Naeun ran to the front door and opened it, finding Jongin and Chanyeol.
"Good morning," they told her. Then Chanyeol spotted Eunji and ran to her to then wrap her on his arms in a big hug.
"Happy birthday, babo!" he told her all cheered up, making her chuckle.
"Thank you, babo!" She replied in the same way as him.
Jongin pulled them apart, pushing Chanyeol far from them, and hugged his girlfriend tight.
"Happy birthday, baby," he told her in a sweet way.
"Thank you," she replied and then they kissed each other shortly.
"How romantic," Naeun commented sarcastically. He could have been more romantic, couldn't he?
"Shut up," Eunji told her, funny.
"Cake!" Chanyeol exclaimed.
"Sit down and enjoy the cake that my best friend made," Eunji told the boys, making them do what they were told while she looked for two more plates and spoons.
"Naeun? Yeah right," Jongin said, laughing.
"I can make cakes," she told him, serious.
"Since when?" Chanyeol asked.
"I can make one if I want but I don't promise it will come out good for eating." They laughed at her honesty.
They began eating, and the cake was delicious as it looked. They ate their own pieces to then go to college.

When going back to their classes after having lunch, as Chanyeol and Naeun were going together, he saw the perfect moment to ask her what he had been wanting to the whole day.
