"Oh, Park Chanyeol. What brings you here?" Eunji asked after opening the door which Chanyeol called at.

"Is. . ." He cleared his throat. "Naeun here?" It was obvious that Eunji was going to be surprised because of him looking for her friend.

"No. She's not here." She crossed her arms. "Why are you looking for her?"

"When will she be here?" He ignored her question.

"I don't know. At night maybe?"

"Aish. . ," he muttered for the way she was talking to him. "Okay."

He turned around and walked away with his hands on his pockets. He had the hope of finding her there and so they could talk. . . . He couldn't sleep the night before thinking on what to tell her. How to apologize. . . .

He let out a sight when the elevator's doors closed. He thought where to go. . . , somewhere he could be alone. Right. His bedroom. With his music.

That's how he spent the rest of the afternoon. In the darkness of his room making music and drinking beer. At the end, he listened the lastest song he had composed, the song he promised that he would write for her and sing it on her birthday, which he wasn't sure if he would do it.

He began singing the song while walking to the kitchen. . . .

"But it's deeper and more genuine than anyone else. . . ."

Jongin looked away from his new laptop and watched his friend half drunk singing the song that once didn't let him sleep for two nights.

"Shut up," he told him. Chanyeol turned around grabbing a beer.

"Ask Eunji if Naeun has arrived."

"I bet she has. . . . Why?" Jongin looked to the laptop screen again.

"I'm going to see her." He left the beer half full in the counter and ran to the front door.

"I better warn them," Jongin muttered and grabbed his phone to call his girlfriend.

"Cinderella, your Prince Charming is coming," Eunji informed her best friend, receiving a weird and confused look. "But do not pay much attention to what he says. He's been drinking." She smiled and went back to her bedroom.

Naeun let out a big sight and stared at the ceiling. She smiled sideways and stood up from her bed when the doorbell rang, looking at herself in the mirror first. She was already on her pjs but it was fine.

"Hi," Chanyeol smiled when she opened the door. But she was serious, like not happy for seeing him. "I know it's quite late but I need to talk with you."

"You've been drinking right?" She asked after hearing him speak with some awkwardness.

"Just a little. But I'm fine. Can I come in?" He walked in without waiting for an answer. She rolled her eyes and closed the door.

She went to the kitchen and prepared coffee for him. She really hated when he drank. . . . While making the coffee, she hoped he'd start talking about whatever he went there to, but all he did was bit his nails sitting in the couch. It wasn't until she sat beside him that he stopped bitting his nails and his leg stopped shaking.

"Thanks," he said as he grabbed the cup of coffee. He took a drink and put the cup in the coffee table to then look at her. "Always taking care of me. . . ." He chuckled with a hint of sadness.

"It seems you don't always like it," she replied looking at the white cup.

"I've always liked it." He looked at her searching for her eyes, but she didn't look away from the cup.
