After getting dressed again I sat on the bed. Mikasa looked at me. "Hey, are you okay?" She asked. I stared at my legs. "People really don't seem to like me." I said and dried my tears. She wrapped an arm around me. "I like you." She said. I looked up. "W-What?" I asked. She looked at me. "I like you. I'll be your friend." She said. I smiled and nodded slowly. She looked at my arm. "I've seen that mark before." She said and grabbed my hand. I looked at her. "It's a protectionmark." She said. I stared at her. "You can't be harmed by titans, at all." She said. I stared at her. The door opened. "Training begins." A girl said. Mikasa nodded and slowly walked out. I got up and looked at them. Everyone stood and trained with swords. I walked around and found a thin rope. No one was paying attention so I climbed up a little bit. It was fastened to something that seemed solid. I climbed higher and looked down. A guard came towards me. I looked down. "What are you doing up there?" he asked. I slowly slid down and looked at him. "I just wanted to try something." I said. He nodded slowly. "Would you like to watch the training?" he asked. I nodded slowly.
In the evening I sat alone by a table and stared at the food. Eren sat down and looked at me. I looked up at him. "Eat." He said. I looked at him. "Not hungry." I said. He sat next to me and took my spoon before feeding me the soup. I sipped it in me. He kept feeding me. In the end I had eaten everything. He ate his own food before giving me bits and pieces of my bread. I looked at him. "I know you think everyone here hates you, but they don't." He said. Tears rolled down my cheeks. He dried them and looked at me. "I feel useless." I said. He looked at me. "I need something to do! I need a purpose!" I looked at him. He dried my tears and wrapped his arms around me. I sat still. He wrapped them tighter. "You're not useless." He said. I hugged him tight back and sobbed.
The next morning I woke up with someone's hands wrapped around me. I opened my eyes and looked at Mikasa. She was still sleeping. I slowly got out of bed and got dressed before walking outside. It was pretty quiet, and no one was awake. I walked to the training area and stared at the sand. The wind blew in my hair. I looked around and sighed. "Hey, you alright?" Mikasa walked over to me and looked at me. I jumped. "Y-Yeah." I smiled and looked at the ground. "You don't seem so okay." She said and looked at me. I looked up at her. "I have feelings for Eren. My body is physically reacting to it, but I don't remember anything." I looked down again. She wrapped an arm around me. I pushed her away and cleared my throat. "I need to make myself useful." I said and walked away. She looked at me. I walked into the office and signed myself out. There was no way I was fit to stay, so it would be better if I just hid.
