Chapter 2.4

Out in the garden a few guards where chatting. I walked out and stared ahead. Infront of me was two titans. One was laying down, the other was sitting. They stared at me, and as if someone had dangled a carrot in front of a hungry horse, they tried to reach me. I stared at them. "Miss, step away." Someone said. I couldn't move. "No, let her stand there." A more feminine voice said. "Hanji.." I stood still. The guards stood more prepared. Slowly the titans stopped moving and looked at me. I slowly walked over. Their eyes traced my movements. I looked up. They sat completely still. The lying titan stared at me, and didn't show any sign of wanting to eat me as I came closer. "Are you insane Hanji?" I turned around. Eren looked at me. More people came to watch. The titan stuck out his tongue and put it in front of me. Hanji stared at me. I stared at them. "Are they... protecting her?" Hanji asked. "It's alright." I said calmly and looked at the lying titan. He removed his tongue slowly. "Sukina." Levi stared at me. I looked at him. Crap. I completely forgot. "No, let her stay there." Hanji said. I turned around and looked at the blonde titan.

"What is going on?" More people joined and stared. "Do I smell different?" I asked and smelled my arm. "Didn't Eren mention something about a mark on your back?" Hanji asked. I nodded slowly and backed away. "If anyone has problems with a nude girl." Hanji said and looked at me. "Everything?" I asked. "Everything." Hanki said. I took off my top. "Well, the mark is gone." Hanji said. "Are you seriously making her stand naked in front of this many people?" Erwin asked and walked forward. I pulled down my pants and underwear before walking towards the titans. They stared at me. "Am I a titan?" I asked and bit my finger. "Are you insane!" People screamed in panic. I shook my hand. "Well, all that did was inflict pain." I said and stared at the titans. Scared. I stared at the blonde titan. He looked at me. "Put on some clothes!" Levi said. I walked over to the blonde titan and heldt his finger. I'm scared. It was the human inside. Or was it the titan? "It'll be alright. You'll be alright." I said and smiled.

The rest of the day I helped Levi clean every inch of the caste. When the sun set I walked towards the Titans. The guards were talking. I stared at them. I'm scared. I'm so scared. Are they gonna kill me? Are they gonna torture me? I don't feel anything but I am scared of what is gonna happen. The blonde titan looked at me. It sounded like a teenage boy. I stared at him. "Hey, who let her in?" One of the guards asked. Two guards came towards me. I looked at them before running towards the blonde titan. He looked at me and tried to move. I stepped on his arm and sat on his shoulder. "It's ok. We're just trying to get some answers." I said and looked at him. The guards stared at me as if I had killed someone right in front of them. I don't like the weapons. He sat still. "If you shoot you'll risk hitting me. And Hanji won't like that." I said. They lowered the guns and looked at each other. "Do we get Hanji or Levi?" They asked. "Neiter." Erwin walked in. He stared at me. I sat still and looked at him. "Hanji wants to do some tests tomorrow." He said. I nodded. "Understandable." I said. He looked at me. "Get down." He said calmly. Stay. Please. I stared at the titan. "I'll be down in a little while." I said. Erwin looked at me. "They won't hurt me." I said. He rolled his eyes and walked away. I smiled a little.

Something smelled like it was burning. I opened my eyes and stared at the blonde titan. HELP ME. HELP ME. HELP ME. I couldn't do anything but stare as they went up in smoke. It was right before dawn. "No." I stood up. "Let this be a dream." I said and slapped myself. It wasn't a dream. They were really dead. I fell to my knees and started to shake. No sound came out, no tears. I was just shaking. No one was around. I looked up and screamed. It felt like my throat was filled with blood, that's how loud I was screaming. I screamed till no sound came out. Several people ran out, some of them not wearing more than boxers. I bendt forward and sobbed. "What happened?" Hanji came running and gasped. "Is Linda okay?" People asked. I slowly stood up. Hanji came closer. I looked at the bones and felt tears rolling down my cheeks. "Linda?" Hanji stared at me. "Woah, her hair!" Someone said. I was about to turn around when someone wrapped their arms around me. "Linda, calm down." Jonathan heldt my wrists. My breath slowly calmed down. I leaned back and felt only sadness. Tears rolled down my cheeks. "Jonathan." Levi said. "Everyone go back to bed." Levi said. People slowly moved. I stood behind.
