Chapter 5

MIA POV

We ran outside as their car pulled up out stepped my Aunt Maria, in her plum slip business dress with black heels. Her long dyed blonde hair in loose curls. She's a very successful business woman in Italy. Her husband emerges next, wearing the same thing as my father a very nice business suit. His graying brown hair slicked back in a professional style. Felix comes out next and bro hugs my brothers. He spots me and charges picking me up and swinging my legs around.

"Stop Felix!" I giggled as he put me down, soon Max comes out followed by Mikey. They greet my brothers first and then come up to greet me with a hug.

"Hey guys!" I said and I looked up when I heard another door close. I saw Emily emerge. Her long blonde pulled into a side braid, she was wearing a baby pink short skirt and a white tank top accompanied with her white high top converse. Her sunglasses were placed on top of her head and her long pink coach brand purse was over her shoulder. Told ya she had great taste.

"Mia!" She screams and hugs me, then moving onto my brothers.

"We so need to catch up!" She said dragging me in. We all sat in the living room and talked for like two hours until we had to go to bed.

The next morning I woke up and got dressed (A/N outfit above). Emma woke up and got dressed into her usual cute top and skirt combo. She straightened my hair as well as hers. We walk downstairs and into the kitchen.

"So what do you want?" I asked her.

"Food duh," She said smirking.

"Food is boring, let's go to Starbucks!" I suggested.

"Seriously, before school?" She questioned.

"Yeah, I mean you've got your license right?" I asked her.

"Alright let's go then!" She agreed while laughing. We walk out to her car and she gets her keys out of her purse.
We drive to Starbucks first then she takes us to school.

"Look if someone says anything to you, tell me before you tell your brothers or mine." I explained.

"Why?" She questioned.

"Because I don't want to explain to Uncle Don why they were arrested for murder" I said, and she giggled.

"Truth to that sista!" She said as we pulled up to the school.

"What should I do?" She asked me.

"Since your in tenth just go to the main office and get your schedule!" I shouted over my shoulder.

"Wait Mia show me!" She shouted back, I sighed grabbing her arm and pulling her towards the office.

"Hey Carson!" Adam shouted running up to us.

"What's up Cook!" I shouted back referring to him as his last name as he did to me. He catches up to us laughing and loops an arm around my shoulder.

"Are you two dating ?" Emily questions skeptically.

"Nah, he's like my guy bff," I told her.

"Oh you know it girl!" Adam squeals and attempts to talk in a high pitch girly voice.
I bust out laughing and we reach the office.

"Have fun!" I call out to Emily as Adam and I head to home room. I see Max and plop down in the desk next to him and he smirks. Until he realizes who I'm with.

"Who's that," He snarled.

"This is Adam, he's been approved." I said rolling my eyes. I swear Max can be just as protective as my brothers. They start up a conversation and I talk to my friends about the upcoming cheer tryouts.
