MIA POV

It's been about two days since the party incident went down. Dad and I had a chat about it. He basically lectured me a lot and then hugged me. That's how dad works I guess. Since I've been doing nothing but annoying my brothers I decided to have some girl time with Ave and Lauren. Of course my punishment still stands that I have to bring the boys with me, but hopefully I'll be able to ditch them.

We are all out of school for two weeks. Dr. Barns, our principle who also works with my father actually passed away. I know it's pretty sad, but they haven't released his cause of death yet. I'm sure my dad knows though seeing as they have worked closely together for quite some time.

"UGHH!" I let out a frustrated groan, while searching for my concealer and press powder. My bruising is still there and I defiantly wanted to cover that up. All of my makeup is organized pretty well, but for some reason I can't find any of my face makeup apart from eyeshadow and mascara.

Refocusing my attention on getting ready, and needing to cover up the disgusting bruising that has taken over all of my face I look for my makeup again.

"SYLVIA I CAN'T FIND MY MAKEUP!" I shouted from my bathroom to Sylvia who was busy cooking in the kitchen.

"SHUT THE HELL UP MIA! IT'S WAY TOO EARLY TO BE YELLING!" I hear Ryan shout from across the hall. I stifle a laugh.. he told me to stop yelling by shouting to me...hypocrite.

Truth be told it is fairly early for a non school day.. it's 9 am. I need to go shopping for clothes today so Lauren, Avery, and I will just hang out there. Of course with the boys too. The guys are pretty strict and controlling, but you get used to it I guess. Not only do they want to monitor what clothes I pick, but they want to make sure I'm "safe" I mean what's really going to happen at the mall.

"Sweetheart you can't put anything on your injuries, they'll get infected," I heard Sylvia speak up as she walked into my room.

"But Sylvia I'm not putting it directly on the cut. Just all over the bruising," I half explained and half whined to her.

"What's going on in here?" Blake's head popped into my doorway with a hairbrush in his hand.

"She's whining, that's what. But hey what's new," Max said coming out of nowhere.

"Max!" I yelled.

"Gosh Mia, keep it down. Some of us need to sleep," Felix had gotten out of bed to yell at us for being so loud.

"It's alright Felix baby, just go back to bed honey," Sylvia coaxed him in a sweet voice. Apparently they had been out pretty late last night.

"Alright! Way too many people in my room, everybody just get out please!" I yelled to them frustrated.

Soon everyone evacuated my room and I shut the door while letting out a sigh of relief. I looked into my mirror and rolled my eyes. At least I was out of school for the next two weeks. That should give this enough time to heal and the bruising should go down. I walked out of my bathroom and back into my room.

I sat on my bed scrolling through my phone to pass time while breakfast was being made. I started to text Lauren and Avery about all the drama that went down and about my trip to the hospital. I wanted them to be fully updated before they saw me at the mall. I love shopping with them though because Lauren's got great taste and Avery's hilarious so might as well make some fun out of it! Plus Emily has been pretty busy. I know that they have to return home soon, so I hope I'm able to spend some time with her before she has to leave.

"Hey Mia," Ryan said while walking into my room groggily.

"Hey," I replied and he came down to lie next to me.
