Chapter 16

MIA POV

"Come on Mia! Wake up we have to hurry," Emily barges into my room while I'm attempting to get some rest.

"Em? What the heck are you doing! It's literally nine AM on a Saturday," I groan out and shove my head back into the pillows.

"No time for that! It's my last day here. Felix is sending Mikey and I back to Italy," She says with a slight frown while pulling the pillows and covers away from me.

"Aw really?" I ask sitting up disappointed. I know I didn't get to spend much time with her, but Emily really is my favorite cousin. I'll miss having a girl around here too! Well not counting Sylvia.

"Hey! No frowns missy. We're having fun today! Let me take you shopping?" Emily asks hopefully while smiling.

"Oh my gosh yes!" I squeal out and jump out of bed. Emily giggles and tells me to hurry and get ready.

"Wait a minute Em," I call out to her before she can leave my room.

"What is it?" She turns around and asks.

"I can't go out. Remember?" I tell her upset and looking down remembering why my brothers won't let me.

"Leave the boys to me Mia, you just go and get ready," Emily says with a wink and walks out of my room shutting the door behind her.

Alrighty then, I think to myself as I head to my closet to find a good outfit. Flipping through all of my clothes I decide on a pair of white skinny jeans that I hadn't worn in awhile, a blue layered tank top, and strappy, brown sandals. (A/N outfit in the picture up top).
I threw my hair in a high ponytail and put on some mascara, grabbed my purse and left my room.

"Oh come on Felix, it's my last day here! All I want to do is spend some time with my favorite cousin," I hear Emily beg in a whining tone as I make my way down stairs.

"As much as I want you to go have fun Em, I can't let you and Mia go out alone," Felix says while standing his ground.

"Felix please," Emily whines out once again and gives her best puppy dog face.

"Not alone Em," He replied firmly and held a hand out to silence her whines and pleas.

"Fine, but that means one of y'all will be coming with us," Emily says cockily, while putting her hands on her hips as she sees Felix's face fall in realization.

"Go with them where?" We turn to see Asher speak as he makes his way into the kitchen wearing only low riding sweat pants.

I'm surprised he slept this long. Usually if he isn't helping my dad at work he's at the gym.

"The mall. I want to take Mia shopping and to do some girly stuff before I leave, and Felix says that one of y'all have to accompany us. So who'll it be?" She explains and then asks him. None of my brothers enjoy shopping, but usually they send one of them with me to insure I'm buying what they deem as appropriate clothing.

"I'll go," Asher announces surprising me. I was sure he would pass on the burden to one of the twins.

"Then it's settled, be back downstairs in ten minutes. We need an early start if we're going to get all the things I want to get done," Emily chirps out in a smile enthusiastically while the boys just shake their heads and Felix lets out a little chuckle.

"Whatever you say boss lady," Asher replied sarcastically and heads upstairs to get ready.

Emily turns to me and smiles before speaking up.

"I told you to just leave the boys to me," She giggles out.

"Yeah yeah," I reply and playfully shove her. She laughs some more and we both head to the living room, taking a seat on the couch while we wait for Asher.

While Emily was busy on her phone I suddenly doubled over in pain. It felt like my uterus was being stabbed by a thousand little needles repeatedly.

I let out a whimper and Emily looks over.

"Oh my gosh!! Mia are you okay? What happened?" She asks frantically while pulling me up into a sitting position.

I let out a groan and speak up,"I don't know what that was. All the sudden I just cramped up really bad. I'm sure it was nothing," I finish by shrugging her off.

Emily looks at me skeptically and just as she's about to open her mouth Asher walks in.

"You girls ready?" He questions us while grabbing his keys.

"Yep, all good here," I say while flashing a smile and standing.

"Well let's get going then," He says while ushering us out of the door and to the car.

Emily shoots one last glance at me before shaking her head and calling out 'shot gun'.

"Sorry Em, no can do. You can sit in the back with Mia," We look back to see Ryan jogging out.

"Wait why are you coming?" I ask him confused.

"Well gee Mia thanks a lot. We all know I'm your favorite brother and you're so thrilled to have me tag along but try not to make a huge deal out of it," Ryan sarcastically teases me.

"Shot gun!" Before I get a chance to respond Emily and I turn our heads to see Blake jogging out.

"Too late!" Ryan shouts from the front with a smirk.

"Dammit," Blake mutters and climbs in the back with us.

"Now we're ready," Asher mutters and rolls his eyes pulling out of the long drive way.

Hey y'all! I know I haven't updated this for a few months. In all honesty life got really busy. For those of you who do not know I am a little. I've been in little space and just talking with my daddy a lot more. Before you freak out this is not a ddlg book, but I am in the middle of writing one. Please do not put any hate on here bc of that either. These books will be kept completely separate and will in no way correlate. I plan on releasing it once I have the first five chapters finished. Thank you to all who have continued to support this story and stick with it. I also apologize for such a short chapter but I just wanted to hurry and get this out here. Next chapter will have some drama!! Planned to release soon.
