14 - double visions

"Why do hate me so much to do this?" I growled out since I was beyond pissed. She snickered and started walking towards me. "You don't deserve Hayes" She whispered putting her finger under my chin and making me look at her. "You don't deserve your life either" I closed my eyes wishing this was all just a dream. 

"Do your best, don't kill her. Yet" Rachel demanded to the guy that kidnapped me. "Rachel please, please" I looked into her eyes and everything was different. She had lost her mind. "Sorry I can't hear you" she shouted while walking out of the room.

"You are a two sided bitch. Hell probably just one side now. I hope you go die, you used to be the best thing that ever happened to me, but now I regret ever meeting you. I hate you" I yelled out knowing she could damn well hear that.

Everything went dead silent until I heard her footsteps coming back my way. "Kill her" She told the guy while tears were running down her face. My breath hitched in my throat as the words flowed out of her mouth. My hands may be tied in a zip tie but my feet are not. I quickly stood up using the wall as support then belted for the door.

I heard heavy footsteps trailing behind me as I pushed harder to get out of the house. Once I reached the door I remembered I can't open it. "Damnit" I groaned then kicked the door as hard as I could. Luckily the door was dry rotted and fell fast. I had no clue where I was but I just continued to run till I could find the one place I needed to be.

"Does your head hurt as much?" The doctor asked me while I was sitting straight up on the bed. "No, the pain relievers worked" I replied with no emotion. It made me sick to my stomach still not knowing if my girl is okay.

"Look Mr.Grier, I will assure you the police will find your girlfriend soon. Don't think negative" He said with a hand on my shoulder. "Thanks" I said under my breath. "Your clothes are right here so when your ready you can change and we can get you checked out" He said while grabbing the clip board off the table. I nodded giving him a fake smile.

"Come on buddy" Nash said holding me up while we walked to the car. My head still hurt and it was making me dizzy. He started driving and I just kept my eyes looking out the window. As Nash was speeding up to get by a red light I saw two people.

It looked like a teenage girl and father running together, aw how sweet. (I'm going to hell for laughing at this part) I tried getting a closer look but Nash was driving fast. Once we got to the house he helped me in. "Thanks for helping me" I said to him as he was putting my bags on the counter.

"No problem bro. If you need me just call okay" Nash said giving me a small smile. "Okay" I shot him one back before he left. I took a seat on the couch then looked around at the pictures on the table. One was a picture of Carrie and I when we had our first sleepover. I laughed at the thought then reality hit me.

I laid down thinking back to all the memories of us. My thoughts were quickly interrupted when there was a loud banging on the front door. I shot up quickly trying to get to the door to see who was there. Maybe it's the police on some updates. As I opened the door I quickly grabbed Carrie into my arms.

"ARE YOU OKAY?" I was so worried about her. "Yes, are you?" She asked still holding me. "I've been better" I chuckled. She closed the door and locked it quickly. "There's a guy... he's been chasing me... but I got away" She said between breathes. "I'm so happy you're okay" I said giving her kisses all over her face then her lips.

"I love you Carrie" I said while we were still hugging. "I love you Hayes" She whispered. I looked down and her hands were red and swollen. "What happened?" She explained everything and then she told me the devils name. "I'm calling Nash. We're going to send that bitch and her guy to jail."

I got on my phone and told Nash everything Carrie told me. "Holy shit, I can't believe this'' He said and I agreed, "I got this under control don't worry. Just comfort Carrie right now" After the call I walked over to Carrie who was lying down on the couch. "Baby girl I'm so sorry this happened. I tried to get you but I was hit hard and blacked out. It makes me sick"

I sat next to her and she scooted closer to me. "Hayes you're my hero no matter what. It's over with now. We can live peacefully once that bitch is in jail." She sat on my lap looking me right in the eyes, or I believe. I was kind of seeing two's still.

"If I miss your lips just know I'm like half blind at the moment." She laughed and kissed me. It wasn't just a peck or a make out, it was a perfect kiss.
