4 - you're fun

"You like him don't you!" I opened my eyes to reveal Rachel jumping up and down.  "No I don't" I defended myself walking past her. "Ok then" She said smirking at me. "I'm eating dinner in my room so night boo" I told her taking my leftover mac n' cheese to my room.

As soon as I sat down on my bed I heard my phone go off. Its probably just a group chat so I ignored it while i stuffed my face with food.

*Ding* I rolled my eyes and picked up my phone to see a random number texting me. "Hey :)" I was confused and then remembered its probably Hayes.

Me: This is Hayes right?

Hayes: Yep, I'm bored so I'm texting you

Me: I'm eating mac n' cheese ;) btw how did you guys' dinner turn out

Hayes: Well it turned out good but they ate it all before I could get any smh

I hesitated to ask him because I don't share my food, but I feel bad for him.

Me: I have some leftovers if you want some

Hayes: Are you sure? I don't want to take your food

Me: Don't worry about it, you can come over

Hayes: Okay thanks, I'll be over in 5 minutes :)

I fixed my hair into a better ponytail then heard a knock at the door. "Coming!" I yelled while passing Rachel's room. "Who the hell is here?" She asked glaring at me. "Hayes" I said plainly as she started smirking at me. She started doing hand motions implying to sexual stuff making me uncomfortable. "Rachel just stay in your room" I laughed closing her door.

"Whatever" She yelled back. I opened the door to see Hayes on his phone. "Hey doofus, the food is not ready yet but I'm getting it" I said letting him inside. As he followed me to the kitchen he was looking around the house.

"Nice place you got here" He complimented while taking a seat at the counter stools. "Thanks, we're working on it slowly. Like decorating it and fixing broken windows and stuff" I said giggling. "Sorrryyyy" He stretched out the word while laughing. As the food was done reheating i gave him a plate and we walked over to the couch.

"So what do you watch besides porn?" I asked chewing my food trying not to laugh. He dropped his silverware and looked at me with a death glare. "Well aren't you just a lady", He said laughing, "but I actually watch football. Nothing much."

My eyes went wide because I love football. "What's your favorite team?" I asked curiously. "Florida and West Virginia, how about you? he replied. "I like Florida State" I said squinting at him. Clearly Florida State fans hate Florida. "Oh so your an enemy now" He stated while smirking. I rolled my eyes and turned on the tv to ESPN.

About 30 minutes later we were just sitting on the couch and laughing about stories of Hayes and his friends. I couldn't stop smiling because he was so entertaining and funny. "You know you're really fun" He said grinning at me. "So are you" I said back taking the dishes and placing them in the sink.

He tapped my should and moved me out of the way and started doing the dishes. "Hayes you don't have to do that" I said trying to move him. "And I don't have to be here, but I am" He giggled. I sat on top of the counter and we talked while he put the dishes in my dishwasher.

"All done" He said turning around and our faces were almost touching each other. "Jesus Christ I've never been this close to a girl" I busted out laughing and pushed him back. I was trying to catch my breathe and I was crying it was so hilarious. "Oh wow you're soooo nice" He said folding his arms.

"You're such a loner" I said wiping my tears. "Maybe you could fix that" He wiggled his eyebrows at me giggling. "I actually can" I said walking up to him looking him dead in the eye. He stiffened up and got taken back, but I quickly swerved him and ran to Rachel's room.

"Hey Rachel! Hayes admitted he's a loner and he wanted me to fix that so why don't you help him with that" I said bursting into laughter again. "Hey! No, I did not agree to this!" He said pulling me away from her room.

"Well I got to head to bed soon because I have school in the morning" I said leaning against the wall. "Ugh" He said pouting, "fine, I guess I'll see you soon."

"I guess so I mean, I don't plan on moving anytime soon" I laughed and he rolled his eyes. As he was heading out the door I stopped him. "Hayes wait"

He turned around and I hugged him. "Thanks for tonight, it was fun" He hugged back and I felt so safe in his arms. "No thank you for inviting me" We let go and he waved to me before walking back to his place.
