Carrington Ann Durham

Tears began to well up in my eyes as I just observed what was happening. It was like watching it happen in slow motion. I was speechless.

"You're so damn hot" I heard Rachel barely say before I silently left the house. I ran to the car and quickly left the area. It's been an hour and I don't know where I'm going but I'm going a far distance.

My car started making a dinging signal saying I'm low on fuel so I pulled off into the closest gas station. I turned off the car and saw a text from Hayes.

Are you okay? I thought you were doing a half day of school then we would go to lunch?

I ignored the text then got out of my car to start pumping the gas in. "Are you Carrie or um Carrington? Right?" I heard someone ask me. "Yeah?" I responded kind of wondering how someone knew me.

"I'm a big fan of your modeling!" She said showing a big smile. "Oh haha, I haven't modeled in a long time, but thanks." I said grinning at her. "My names Ashley, I'm a manager for a modeling company, so if you would like to start modeling again here's my card" She said giving me a card.

"That sounds amazing, I'll definitely contact you soon. I just can't right now, I'm going through some difficulties" I explained to her while she shook her head. "Of course take your time, I'm always available." She said before shaking my hand then getting into her Cadillac Escalade that was parked on the opposite side of the gas pump.

Wow, maybe I can start modeling to pay for a new house away from my wonderful best friend Rachel. As soon as I started the car my phone was ringing. Eh it's just Hayes, I'll ignore him till I want to see his lying face again.

I started back onto the busy road that was now crowed with traffic. I look at the time to see it's 6:00 P.M. After driving back near the house I saw my favorite club Rachel and I used to go to every weekend. I think I'll stop in for the night and visit with some old friends.

Hayes

It's currently midnight and I've been worrying for hours about Carrie. I've been sitting outside since noon because I don't want to come in contact with Rachel again. I looked up to see the no stars of LA which made me homesick.

I was slowly falling asleep when I got a notification of my phone from Carrie. I jumped out of my chair and stared at the text.

"i raely fuckimq hate u rit now"

I looked at the text re-reading it a couple times before sending a text back.

"What's wrong? Are you okay?"

Then I started getting a call from her
"Carrie where are you?" I asked nervously into the phone. "Just pick me up" I heard her crying which broke my heart. "Where are you at?" I asked again.

"The club I told you about" She barely got out before ending the call. I rushed through the house grabbing my keys then getting into my jeep. It was a short drive to the place so I was there in no time.

I got my phone out to call her then noticed she was sitting on the ground at the side of the building. I quickly got out my car and ran over to her. "Hayes" Her voice cracked and I held her tightly. "Lets get you home" I whispered as she just nodded.

I helped her to the passenger side of my car and buckled her up since she clearly was buzzed. I got in and shut my door then taking a glance at her.

"I really like you but I don't like you. Fuck Hayes why do you have to play and use me like this" She groaned and her eyes got watery, "I saw every fucking thing." She shouted then turned her head looking out the window.

"Carrie you don't understand" I was trying to explain then she spoke up, "Yeah the fuck you don't understand that you were basically having sex with my best friend while I was gone." She tried undoing her seat belt but she gave up.

"Can you unbuckle me damnit" She looked at me with anger dwelling in her eyes. "No I'm not letting you go out there drunk. And if you would listen to me you would know."

"How else are you going to put, I love Rachel soooo much and I hate Carrie because I'm sure that's how you feel" She was about to continue ranting then I interrupted her.

"Your fucking best friend almost raped me Carrie! I was struggling to get away from her! I don't think you realize how strong that bitch is, you don't know what I've had to go through and keep a secret so I could stay in your house, I stayed because of you. Because damnit I love you. But right now I'll be damn glad to let you out of this car right now if that's what you want to do!" I yelled at her then noticing her bottom lip shaking showing she was about to cry again.

"I'll stay in the car" She said trying to hold in the tears.
