"You're a cheater!" I holler, slapping his hand away from the fake money. That's what I get for letting him be the banker. "You can't steal money while I'm not looking."
Jake and I have been laying on my floor for the past hour and a half playing Monopoly. AC/DC blares from a nearby pill speaker, and I hum along to Highway To Hell. That's where Jake will be going if he keeps this up.
"Put it back!" I tell him. He just sticks out his tongue and makes a raspberry. I sit up and try to get the money from him, but he pulls away. "Jake Cross, you're such a cheater!"
I'm practically crawling on top of him as I reach across his body for the arm that he has raised into the air. I claw at his wrist, not able to reach. Suddenly, Jake loses his balance and slips, falling back to the carpet with me on top of him. The board game pieces go everywhere and I think the dog flew in front of my chin.
I land with my chest flat against Jake's chest with a grunt. He snickers in amusement and in his state of shock I'm able to grab the fake money. I place it beside me on the floor, out of his reach. Jake looks at me, a hint of mischief in his eyes. Oh, no.
He flips me so that I'm pinned under him with my arms held above my head. His hips are straddling me and his face is literally inches from mine. My breath hitches in my throat as his dark eyes haunt me.
"Who's cheating now?" He asks. I glare up at him, not comfortable in this tight space. I struggle to get out of his grip and that's when things go wrong.
I squirm, making my hips buck up. The noise that erupts from us both was something that I did not want to hear. I never made that noise before and I didn't want to until I was at least eighteen. We both freeze and my hips drop to the floor so fast that you'd think I was suddenly paralyzed. Jake's eyebrows lift up high, obviously just as surprised as I am. He very slowly crawls off of me, not sure what to say or do other than making a little distance between us.
"We will never speak of that again," I say from the floor. "Understood?"
"Understood." He says without hesitation. I sit up, squeezing my legs together. I slowly begin to pick up the game pieces and set them back up.
"Was I on the Connecticut Avenue, or New York?" I ask, looking for where to put my top hat. Jake scoots closer, happy that I've changed the subject. I don't want things to be awkward between us, especially if I'm going to win this thing. How long does it even take for someone to fall in love?

I sit on my bed, dressed like a complete fool. I look at myself in the full-length mirror on my door. I am not like this at all. Where did I even get this shirt?
My butt has been squeezed into very tight black jeans that are labeled as my size, but I'm starting to wonder. A black, long sleeve crop top has managed to cover my boobs, but obviously not enough or they wouldn't be hanging out this much. The shoulders are exposed more than I'd like and my skin between my belly button and pelvis is completely exposed. I'm scared that my 150 pounds of fat will be too noticeable, to I'll probably be sucking my gut in all day. I've tied my hair into a messy bun on top of the crown of my head. My usual black Vans are slipped onto my feet.
No. I refuse to wear this to school. I look like a fat whore. It's not worth it. Jake is not worth looking like a complete freak over. As much as I want to forget it, though, I can't get last night out of my mind. I can't get the fact that I actually felt Jake's manhood against my hips. I FELT IT! And now I don't know who's in the lead so I have to make an impression except I have no idea what I'm doing.

Romance"Okay, then allow me to offer a pact." He says, immediately making me a mixture of terrified and suspicious. "You say that I'm a jerk; a bully. So, why not change that my way?" "I don't like where this is going-" I begin, but he cuts me off. "Just...
