Welcome to the very last chapter to Player. I am incredibly sorry for the delay, Wattpad was blocked on the laptop that I was writing on. Enjoy!

My eyelids are weighed down with sleep, but I force them to open. Above me, the ceiling stretches out in every direction. My stomach is in knots and I can feel my heart beating hard in my chest. I swing my bare legs out from under the sheets and the entire bed moves with me.

Jake rustles awake beside me and I quickly grab a pillow and cover my chest. His big green eyes stare into mine and I gasp.

"Hi." He yawns, stretching his arms above his head. The sheet falls of of his waist as he sits up and smacks his lips.

"Hey." I quickly reply. My voice is hoarse and I notice Jake has a hint of a smile on his face.

Before I could say anything else, he leans across the bed and kisses me on the lips. I return the favor, but keep my arms on the pillow. Jake pulls away and looks me up and down. He's not trying to hide his smile anymore.

"I love you, Manny." He says sincerely, his head cocked to the side a little. "A whole damn lot."

I laugh and give him a peck on the cheek.

"I love you, too." I mumble under my breathe.

"Oh. I'm sorry, what?" He jokes, cupping his ear with his hand. I tilt my head back and genuinely laugh. I don't remember being this happy before. It's really nice to be able to just sit naked in bed and laugh.

"I love you, Jake Cross!" I holler into the empty room. "I freaking love you!"

His lips smash into mine and I immediately lean into it and kiss him back. One of his hands dig into my hair and the other grabs my bare thigh. I laugh against his mouth and give him a couple quick pecks to the corner of his lips.

"Can I make you breakfast?" He suddenly asks. I'm surprised by his energy and smile. "How about some cold pizza?"

"Sounds just wonderful." I giggle. Jake picks me up bridal style, wrapping the sheet around me as he does so, and carries me out of the room and into the living room. I look down just in time to see his business and I shriek and laugh.

"Jerk!"
