Before you begin, know that I'm not particularly proud of this. I was half asleep and distracted. Sorry in advance.

"Rise and shine, sleepy head!" Willow's too cheerful voice breaks me from my dream and I feel like throwing at lamp at her head.

Then everything that happened last night comes pouring in like memory vomit and I sit up so quickly I get dizzy. Jake isn't in bed and I frantically look around, thinking that he could've fallen off or something.

"Jake went for a run," Willow says, reading my mind. "He should actually be back any minute now."

I sleepily put my hair up in a tangled ponytail and stand up. Willow looks to me as if she's studying every inch of me from head to toe.

"Willow, I'm so sorry about last night. If I had known that you were going to-" I start to apologize, but I'm cut off.

"Yeah, that wasn't okay." Willow crosses her arms and scowls. "I should tell mom. I should call her right now and tell her that I walked in on her baby girl dry humping Jake Cross, but I won't."

"Thank you." I sigh in relief and even smile a little bit.

"You're wilder than I was when I was still in high school. Okay, well that's not entirely true..." Willow thinks for a moment and I can tell that she's off in memory lane. "I lost my virginity at fourteen so I guess you're doing pretty well."

I gape at my sister. I didn't know that and I'm pretty sure that I could've gone the rest of my life without needing to know that.

"Alright, I'm done here." I grab my bag and start heading for the bathroom. Willow laughs as I close the door behind me.

I change out of my pajamas and into a comfy pair of leggings and a Bon Jovi band tee that fits tight around my waist and bust. I don't bother with makeup since I don't need a bazillion blackheads.

By the time I go back out into the kitchen, I find Willow lecturing Jake at the bar. They stop talking when I enter the room, but I know it was about last night. They're close, I'm sure he told her a lot.

"Manny! Hey!" Willow seems somewhat in a better mood than a few minutes ago, when she seemed like she either wanted to rip my head off or praise me. I wasn't sure of which one. "Come sit with us, I have breakfast."

She waves a box of Cheerios above her head and I smile. I pour myself a bowl and sit next to Jake and start eating. He's all sweaty from his run, which should be impossible since it's freaking cold outside. Willow and I talk about HHS and the teachers while Jake changes from his sweatpants and sweatshirt, takes a shower, and changed back into something nicer.

He finally emerges from the bathroom wearing faded jeans, a thin black tee shirt, and his old leather jacket. I laugh at his white socks.

He comes up behind me and kisses my cheek, wrapping his arms around my waist as I finish off the last few bites of my cereal. Willow looks as if she's going to puke as we show the slightest bit of affection towards each other.

She shakes the disgusted look off of her face and forces a tight smile on her face.

"I was thinking about going into town today and seeing a movie, but now I'm leaning more towards staying home and playing board games." It's obvious that she doesn't want Jake and me in the back of a dark movie theater, sucking face. I don't mind staying home and playing board games either, though.
