I had no idea where I was going, but I just went. My feet knew exactly where to go, even though my head didn't. The weird thing was that I was anything but scared. If I was in my right mind, I wouldn't have even opened my window at all because I had just almost been killed by half-wolves. But, of course, I wasn't in my right mind. I get to a part of the forest where there is Dirakon, the weird sap, and fill a leaf up with it. I then run over to a large rock and set the leaf with the sap in it on it. I wait for a few minutes then start pacing.
After about 5 minutes of waiting I walk over to the large rock and reposition the leaf. I walk back and start pacing again. After another 10 minutes or so, I walk back to the rock and stare at the leaf. I look up at the sky and see the stars shining down. I sigh and sit on the rock. After a few more minutes I get up and prepare to start walking back. I snap my head to the side as I hear a sharp crack. Then I snap my head to the other side as I hear a stick snap. Leaves crunching behind me. I spin around. Bushes rustling to my left. And finally a low growl coming from behind me. I spin around and listen closely for anymore sounds. Nothing.
I stay still for at least 10 minutes before I decide that whatever it was had left. I stand up straight and listen once more. I have this weird feeling that I'm being watched and so I stay still for a few more minutes before deciding that standing here won't help anything. I take a step before getting knocked onto my back and pinned there by... hands? I look up and see a wolf face. I shudder and start panicking. It's the half-woves! I struggle with the creatures grip until I'm effortlessly picked up and thrown over on of the half-wolf's shoulders. It's rock hard, and after two steps I can feel a giant bruise forming on my stomach. Every step was agony. I watched the ground speed by under me. Ouch. Okay, I new I had to do something quickly. I feel like my ribs are breaking. Suddenly, the bumping stopped and I saw the ground change from forest pines to a cliff. I was looking down at a 200 ft cliff or so. Wait... were jumping... Then we landed. I felt a crack in my ribs. I gasped, then blackness.
Heat. Blosoming from inside and warming everywhere else as well. Flying. Floating... Quinlan... I can see his face... He opened his mouth to speak "Don't tell anyone, but it's under the Toratree mountain." I look up to see the moon... the beautiful moon... then the face of it turnes into a half-wolf and leaps out at me, engulfing me in a not-so-friendly hug. I scream but no one is there to hear me, I cry out for help but there is no one there to save me, I reach up and cover my face with my hands but end up realizing that I don't have a face... This is dreamworld, and you don't have a body... where am I? Why am I here? What did I do? Quilan, where are you? Come find me!
I snap awake and feel cold metal under me. I sit up then cry out in pain and clutch my stomach as I roll off the metal shelf that I was laying on. I hit the cold stone ground, causing more pain to shoot through my body. I lay on the ground, in a misrible heap, when I hear the door behind me open. I don't dare move, for fear of causing more pain. "Get up girl." I hear a raspy voice say. I stay quiet, hoping, wishing, praying that they will just go away. I hear footsteps coming closer towards me and I shut my eyes tightly. I still don't know where I am, or why I am here. I feel a strong hand roll me onto my back and then I feel two strong arms pick me up like a child. The thing carrying me carried me for about two minutes then knocked on a door. Okay Alexandra... just pretend to be dead. The door opened and we walked into it. The creature set me down on the floor.
I heard a husky voice say "Do we still need to drug her? It lookes like she's knocked out already..."
"Umm...I- I don't think so..." The other one says.
"Then lets get her hooked up to the marteling!"
I was picked back up and set on a metal board. My arms were put in shackles, my feet were put in shackles, I could feel them preparing to restrain my waist as well. I had to do something. I couldn't just let them win! That would be like commiting suiside!
