I swear I love you,
I really still do,
But you cause me so much stress,
you haven't a clue.
While your mind slips,
I want you to stay,
but I know that in time,
Our memories will grow gray.
I want you alive,
but it's causing you pain,
You look so weak and fragile,
like you don't have a brain.
I'm scared for your future,
you've lived so long,
that I'm scared that your coming breath,
will be your swan song.
