From a very early age,
I had a preconceived notion
Of what bad boys were supposed to be.
From around the age of 5,
I had imagined them to wear all black
And ride motor cycles.
My young brain couldn't fathom
That bad boys,
Were everywhere.
I wouldn't have been able to imagine
That I would fall in love with a bad boy
Disguised in muscle tees and video games.
And if I had disillusioned myself
And told the young one that I had,
She'd have been so disappointed,
All while staring at the dark marks on my neck.
