Music and Frost (Jack Frost Love Story)

Chapter 8

I am so sorry for going so long without updating! School started back and it's been really intense!

Here is my newest chapter and I promise to try and update a bit more regularly!

Myst POV

When Jack and I entered the room the first thing everyone noticed was our joined hands and how close we were standing next to each other. They were silent for a while before Tooth exclaimed.

"FINALLY! I thought you two would never get together!" She said sounding exasperated. I looked at her surprised. Had it really been that obvious that we were falling for each other?

I looked to Jack who appeared to be thinking the same thing.

"All that aside, congratulations on getting better so quickly and congratulations on you and Jack getting together!" I anime sweat dropped at the fact that he said all that aside and brought it all back up in the same sentence. I stifled a laugh as Bunny actually said that to him which caused North to get very defensive. I chuckled as I watched them and looked at Jack who was smiling at me.

I stopped chuckling and just smiled back staring into his eyes. For a second it seemed as if everyone else in the room disappeared and it was only Jack and I.

"They're so whipped..." I vaguely heard Bunny whisper to Sandy. I would usually turn around and yell at him then chase him around the room until he took it back but this time I just dismissed him and stayed focused on the sapphire eyes that were staring deeply into mine.

"Hey guys... guys... guh-uys..." Tooth said as she waved her arms from side to side. She sighed and looked at Sandy.

"You didn't put them to sleep standing up or something did you?" She asked. He shook his head no.

North walked right up to us and clapped his big hands right by our faces making us both jump and look at him annoyed.

"We need a plan to get rid of Pitch again." North stated and looked at us all. We all nodded back. (Like in Pokemon how they do that weird in sync nod and make that mmh noise? I can't take that seriously! It's absolutely hilarious!)

"He seemed interested in me so maybe I could be bait or something?" I volunteered. everyone nodded except for Jack. I liked at him and the look on his face could have frozen someone. I think the room actually dropped about 20°.

"NO! SHE IS NOT GOING TO BE BAIT!" he yelled. A big gust if wind swept through the room freezing elves and making torches go out. Instead of calming down after that he only seemed to be getting angrier. I ran over to him and grabbed him pulling him to me.

"You can't leave me..." he whispered nuzzling my neck.

"I won't leave you. I trust you to be my hero and save me." I said to him smirking.

"How cliché." I heard Bunny whisper to Tooth who didn't even seem to be listening as she was to caught up in the moment.

I rolled my eyes at Bunny and turned back to Jack.

"If you have a better idea than lets hear it." I said to him. he opened his mouth, closed it, then opened it again only to close it again.

"Exactly what I thought." I whispered in his ear making him shudder.

"So... what's the rest of the plan!" North said clapping his big hands together and looking at me. I looked back at him.

"I'm not going to be the only one planning this you know!" I yelled at him making Jack chuckle.

I suddenly felt very tired and leaned against Jack so I could stay upright. He looked down at me and smiled worriedly.

"I'm going to take Myst back to bed." He said looking up at everyone. They all nodded their heads.

Jack picked me up bridal style and flew back to my room where he placed me on the bed and laid down next to me.

"I love you..." I whispered, my eyes already closing.

Just before sleep over took me I felt Jack move down closer to my face.

"I love you too." he whispered in my ear. I smiled slightly before I let the need to sleep invade.
