Unwanted To Loved Ch. 6

Ruby's P.O.V.

I hear a door being opened and I see Eric come in with a tray. 

"This is it? Pudding?" Matt questions.

"She needs to eat soft foods. Her body looks weak and I'm sure it'll take a lot of energy for her to chew on things." Eric says.

"Alright. How long until she can leave?" Matt says.

So he doesn't want me around after all. 

"She can leave probably tomorrow but I'll have to keep an eye on her for any changes." Eric says. 

"Good, now leave." Matt says.

The door opens again and I see Eric walking out. I began crying once again. Even my wolf Lizzy thought that he was going to reject us. 

"Why are you crying?" I hear Matt ask.

"Your going to reject me, aren't you?" I ask.

I hear the tray being put onto the night stand.

"Where would you get an idea like that?" Matt asks.

"You want me to leave." I say.

"Out of the infirmary yes but nowhere else." He says.

"So you want me?" I ask.

"Yes." Matt says.

I saw his eyes go black but not from anger from lust. He wasn't lying when he said he wanted me.

"Do you want me?" He asks.

I nod my head, I couldn't speak, I felt like I was going to say something stupid at any second.

"But why would you want me? I'm an abused runaway." I say.

Yep, I knew I was going to say something stupid.

Matt's eyes got black with anger. "Who hurt you?!" He yelled at me.

I flinched and began crying. I hated being yelled at. 

"I am so sorry Ruby. I didn't mean to yell." He says.

"Can you leave please?" I ask.

I saw in his eyes that he was hurt, he probably thought that I didn't want him now. He gets up and starts walking off slowly towards the door...it was as if he thought that I was going to change my mind.

"Matt?" I say.

He looks at me with hope.

"You can come back later if you want." I say.

He nods his head and gives me a sad smile before walking out.
