You woke up in darkness... You weren't exactly sure where you were. It felt like a cell, but it didn't look like one. It was old, there were the smallest glimpses of light peeking through cracks in the walls. You could feel a draft in the room and shiver. Your eyes hadn't adjusted to the dark yet, but you felt your hands were locked into cuffs, and so was your right leg. You didn't know where it was chained to, but it was most likely near. Why would your kidnapper give you a long chain? It only made sense that they'd chain you.

If felt like forever until you could finally see the room. The floor and ceiling were made of old worn out wood, the walls were covered in a tattered blue wallpaper. There were lumps that you could only assume were furniture, since some of the pieces looked like a table and chair. You felt a jumble of emotions

Hours passed, and your throat was raw from yelling for your kidnapper. All you could do was sit and think. Run through your memories, friends and family, dreams. The time alone was getting to you, you felt your heart dropping to your stomach, you were slowly growing more and more anxious. Then you could hear footsteps. You didn't know whether you should be happy that you wouldn't be alone, or that you had to face to took you. The door opened.
The light from the hallway only left the person as a silhouette. The door was quickly shut by the mysterious person. Your heart was beating faster and faster.
?: "(Y/n)?" the voice was surprising... feminine? It sounded familiar. You stared at the person in horror, hoping it wasn't who you thought it was. You saw the shadow reach to turn on the light. You felt blinded at first, but your eyes quickly adjusted. Seeing who the person was, you felt your heart break.

N-No... it can't be!

You: "Y... Yuuka?" There were so many emotions inside you, sadness, betrayal, rage. She smiled sadly.
Yuuka: "Hi... (Y/n)." You didn't know what to say. Why did she do this? Where were you guys? What's going on? You had so many questions, but all you could say out was:
You: "... Why?" She sighed and sat down in front of you with a key in her hand.
Yuuka: "(Y/n)... I'm so sorry I had to do this to you, but I have to protect you. You don't realize what danger you're in. The people you've surrounded yourself with, they aren't safe!" She said as she unlocked the handcuffs.

Yuuka: "I'm protecting you. I've seen how vicious they are. They've done terrible things... he ruined my life... and he'll ruin you if you let him in your life anymore."

You: "I... I don't believe that I can't believe that they're the terrible people when you're the one who kidnapped me! Let me go!" You began crying, you were scared of her. This wasn't your friend, this wasn't the happy and bright Yuuka you know. You didn't understand, why did she want you to get your friends out of your life? You didn't want to let them go. Hisashi, Shin, Katashi, Gouro, Midori, Hiraku... They've been with you for so long. You didn't know what to do.

She stood up and walked out of the room, then appeared with a tray of food. Yuuka: "(Y/n), you're one of my best best friends. I love you like a sister. I don't want to hurt you, I'm sorry I have to lock you up, but I know right now you'll try to run away. It's all so sudden, just believes me. I won't do anything to harm you, I'll make sure you won't suffer under my care." She put down the tray of food, smiled, and left the room. You heard the door lock.

You looked down at your plate of food. It was surprising, yet it wasn't. Typically, the kidnapped gives their victim a piece of bread with water or some cold oily soup. But then again, this was Yuuka. She cared about you like she said. It was so strange, her way of thinking. How she became this way. Was it because of Kou's death? She's been strange ever since. But why would she do this to you? What danger? Is she insane, or did she know something you didn't?

You picked up your tray of food and finally got to look around in the room. There was a table with two chairs, an average bed with... your sketchbook? Wait, there was a suitcase with a various amount of your clothes in it. Did she care to bring you your things? There was even a radio. You looked at the wall your back was facing and saw your window. It was pitch black with a few stars sprinkling the sky. By the window, you could assume it was dinner time.
