It was really sad, Phil's life. Fairly worse than Dan's, but similar. Phil had a different way of coping. Instead of shutting every single person in his life out, he did the complete opposite. He wore his heart out on his sleeve and basically gave his trust to anyone who asked for it.

So when he transferred to a new school, he was determined to make any friend. He needed someone to spill his guts to, someone to count on. Everyone has always let him down, but he's never learned his lesson. He thought he was the only at fault. He thought he scared everyone one off with merely his looks, something he was very ashamed of. He was really insecure, but he wouldn't let that get to him. He still tried to talk to everyone. Due to his innocence, he couldn't take a hint. He was very naïve.

He thought Dan was playfully teasing him, instead of actually telling him to fuck off.

At the end of the day, Phil boarded the bus. In a school full of bored selfish fucks like this one, all Phil was seen as 'fresh meat.' In fact, some kids only use the school bus just for the sake of bulling the 'nerds' that use it.

A black haired boy wearing a bright blue Pokémon shirt that said, "Ladies, try catching this one" seemed like the ultimate treat for the multiple bullies at school. Snickers and pointing followed Phil as he moved further and further down the bus. Any one that has had experience in that school bus would know not to sit in the very back. It basically a boxing ring. It was far from the monitor and the bus driver, so that's where the selfish fucks did their physical assault. If you sat there, it was basically an invitation to be hit. That, or you'd be caught in the vicious cross fire.

Phil, of course, didn't know this. And that's exactly where he sat.

The bus fell surprisingly quiet and heads turned to see who the tormenter was going to be. It was quite ridiculous. There was about half a dozen possibilities on that bus.

"Nice shirt, loser!" came from the center of the bus. Phil didn't know that comment was directed at him. His complete attention was directed to his Buffy the Vampire Slayer book.

"Ha! Look what he's reading! Buffy the Vampire Slayer!" Being the fan boy he was, his head shot the second he heard the name of his favorite series. His cheeks reddened when he noticed the entire bus was staring at him. In his innocent little naïve mind, he believed that everyone was interested in his book. He smiled and held it up.

"It's the second one. I'm rereading it because is was so ace." With that, everyone fell into laughter. The only people that use the word 'ace' are dads trying to be cool. Insulting remarks came from every direction. 'Dork!" "Loser!" "Nerd!" Phil was somewhat overwhelmed.

David Dobrik got up and came to the end of the bus. He, too, was from America. He was one of the most secretly hated kids in the school. He forced and blackmailed kids into doing shocking things. He got one kid to tattoo 'Penis' on his chin.

"Wha's you name?" He asked as the bus fell quiet, apart from a few intentionally loud conversations started by his friends so the adults in the front wouldn't hear him.

Phil smiled. "I'm Phil Lester. You wanna see my book?" He asked happily.

David snickered. "Yeah, sure buddy." He took Phil's book and tossed it out an open window.

"What'd you do that for?" Phil asked. "That was the special edition copy."

David rolled his eyes. "Get up." he commanded.

"Why?" Phil asked. "Do you wanna see my shirt?" he got up and pulled the hem down to straighten it out.

David was very short tempered, and very violent. He glanced back at the front and turned around only to punch Phil square in the gut.
