Charlie's P.O.V

We arrived to the hospital about a solid hour later. I rode on the top the whole time. The view is amazing up here, the smell, not so much. It wrieked of dead people and old guts.

Oh wait, that might've been because WE'RE SURROUNDED BY THEM.

There were so many. Too many hanging around the hospital, let along inside it.

I opened the door of the roof and hopped into the RV, nearly scaring everyone to death.

"The hell we gonna do?" I jarred.

"We're thinking, we're thinking." Kimmy shook her head.

"Hmm.." Bella mumbled "Montana, you say the medicine and saline bags and all the good stuff are in the basement, yes?"

"Yeah," Montana nodded "there's a back door to every hospital that leads to the basement. That's where they unload the trucks and stuff -- if we're lucky maybe there's a full stocked truck back there."

"Damn, that'd be jackpot." Tyrone nodded.

"Yes. That includes a ton of medicine, food and other supplies we'll need to stay alive."

"Shit. What we waiting for?" Tyrone boasted.

"Confidence," Tyler bit his nails anxiously "we can't all go back there at once. One of USN won't make it if we do our tactics like that."

"That's why you'll stay here and I'm going to help fight off the herd." Jose bit his lip unsurely and glanced at Reese.

"Tyler you stay back with Bella and Max." She commanded.

"Reese I wanna g--"

"Max, not now." Reese mumbled.

"Why do I have it be treated like a child?" Max jarred.

"Because you are." Tyrone bursted "that's how it gotta be sometime lil bruh. We doing this for you."

A small smile formed on Max's face and he glanced at me.

"If it makes it any better, you can stand on the roof and look out for us but swear not to leave." I smiled.

I rarely ever smile.
