32: The End of the Beginning

Cody's P.O.V

We arrived back at Danny's place a day or so later. We had to steal gas from cars along the road to keep going and that took forever.. I was happy to make it home though. My eyes were a little sweaty from just remembering all the funny things Tyrone said to me, all the nice conversations kimmy had about Columbia commando, and even the way we met Park. We were family and now they're gone.

But I'm home and now I see Kai. Now I see the girl I'm madly in love with and the girl behind the reason I left to go on this mission in the first place.

I was the first one out the RV, I busted through the front door. Surprisingly, it was open.

"Kai!" I yelled, running up the stairs "Kai!?"

I checked each room.. no sign of Kai, or Danny. Just Giovanni in the bed we left her in.

I alarmed the gang and we searched the house up and down.

No sign of Kai no sign of Danny. We figured they had left to go for a walk or something.

We found ourselves in the room with Giovanni. All gathered around as Montana grabbed her stethoscope.

She placed it against Giovanni's heart and we all stared in silence. She lifted her hand and dramatically took off her stethoscope.

"She ain't breathing." She whispered.

"What?!" I jarred.

"That can't be!" Charlie's eyes got wide and she ran her hands through her hair.

"She's gone." Montana declared.

Fuck man.  We lost our family for nothing.

"No no no no!" Reese cried, she left the room and her sobs got louder as she approached the bathroom and suddenly, she screamed.

We all ran into the bathroom to find her staring into the mirror like she saw a demon --- and once I saw what she saw too. My whole body went limp, and cold, and I felt the rage to kill.

Ky and Danny says find them.

"That's my damn sister!" Reese got up, grabbed her gun from her back pocket and clocked it back.

"Reese!" Ryan jarred.

"Cody I'm killing your brother in cold blood." She pushed past me and glanced back at all of us, staring confoundedly. We we're all scared and hurt about what happened back at the hospital until suddenly, my nose started to flare. My heart started to best faster. I started sweating and my fists were balling up.

I'm gonna kill James, even if it's the last thing I do.
