Last year, you moved here and immediately fell for Denis, your neighbor.
Drama, tears, and muc...
You woke up with the morning sun, it's the earliest Youve ever woken up on your own. Denis had his arms around you and You slowly got up, trying not to wake him. You looked in the mirror and changed into the outfit that Denis had picked out yesterday when he went through your closet.

You looked out the window again and saw it was going to rain very soon. A devilish smile crept across your face and you walked back into the bedroom area. Denis was sleeping peacefully on his stomach, but not for long. You walked over to him and smacked his butt as hard as you could. "WAKE UP BOY!" You screamed, laughing extremely hard. Denis instantly woke up and laughed as well, but he was whining because his butt hurt. He pulled you by your waist and onto the bed He spanked you in return and you just started laughing more. "You wore my outfit!" He exclaimed, smiling. "Yeah, just for you." You smiled. "You look...wow." He stared at you "I look what?" "Amazing." He smiled and hugged you again "Aww aren't you soo sweet." Denis laughed. "we could go and get some breakfast, the hotel has it for free,." He proposed, You nodded in reply and Denis began checking his notifications
Denis POV
I turned on my phone to see 117 different Instagram notifications. What? I scrolled through all the comments and I finally realized what I did. I broadcasted to the world that I got a girlfriend. I felt like a moron. I was going to eventually make a video with her, but I wasn't now. She wasn't ready. The comments were...wow. "Omg! She is sooooo cute!" "Lol you guys will be together forever." "Who's that?" "She's stealing my Denis!" "Awww" "Do a video about her!" And many others were all there. I mentally face palmed. How could I be so stupid?! I guess now I had to make a video with her. But not this week. When we get back home. I put on jeans for once, because it was raining out and I was cold, and my Eminem shirt. "Ooooh, you look good in jeans." Y/n laughed "I'm never wearing them again." I teased. "Oh, Eminem, I know him. We wrote MockingBird" y/n stated. I thought about that song and how much it related to me. It was like I was Hailey and my Mother was Eminem. The song meant so much to me. "Sing it to me." I asked "What?" She was confused. "MockingBird, sing it to me." She blushed hard, "uh..no thank you." She looked down pretending to be interested In her shoes. "Please?" I begged, sitting on the edge of the bed. She took a long deep breath and finally sang "Now hush little baby, don't you cry Everything's gonna be alright Stiffen that upper lip up little lady, I told ya Daddy's here to hold ya through the night I know mommy's not here right now and we don't know why We fear how we feel inside It may seem a little crazy, pretty baby But I promise momma's gon' be alright......that's all I know." She finished.
"See? That was beautiful." I smiled. She blushed and nodded. "Come on, we're gonna miss breakfast if we don't go now." I said, motioning for her to come We walked down the flights of stairs and into the lobby. Piles of people were everywhere. We eventually got our food and sat down to eat peacefully. The news was on. Apparently the US had just bombed another country or something and a battle is starting up. "So what do you want to do today?" I asked her She finished her bagel and finally answered me. "Let's just walk. It's a beautiful day." "It's raining" "Exactly. " she smiled and grabbed my hand, leading me outside into the cool air. It was only sprinkling, but it was still cold for a summer day. "Come on." We began walking down the walk of fame, just walking. It was busy for a Sunday morning, but I loved it. "Denis?" "Yeah?" "You never tell me about your childhood," she asked me "Well it's not the prettiest story." "Tell me.." I sighed and began talking. "Well. When I was younger, my momma did a lot of drugs while my dad was out working. They ended up splitting apart, but...but uh..." I couldn't finish. "But what?" "She uh...she died of an overdose," I could feel my eyes watering and I swallowed hard. I could remember my mommas voice and face so perfectly. "Denis, I'm so sorry I..." "No it's okay, you didn't know," "Tell me more." I chuckled a bit, "Well, I was 12 when she passed, and my dad got remarried, and I just got a new family. That's about it. What about you? You don't talk about your past." I replied, smiling. "It's not the prettiest story." She quoted me. "It's only fair." I said, teasing her. "Well... I don't really remember. All I know is what people have told me." She said. "And what's that?" I heard her take a breath and she didn't look at me. "I uh...was used by my uncle." I almost fainted. "What?!" I stopped dead in my tracks. " I'm sorry," "Why are you apologizing?" I asked her. "I shouldn't have said that." She was going to say something else, but she didn't. "You know what, lets just get back to our day." I smiled and grabbed her hand, walking around the town.
Then I saw it. I don't know what made me look over, but I did. And I saw my ex, Kendra, standing at the street corner. She saw me too, and I saw her jaw drop. I dropped y/ns hand. "What's wrong?" She asked "Uh, nothing." I said, quickly walking past Kendra, hoping she wouldn't say anything. Just my luck, she did, "Denis? Is that you?" She asked me I quickly put on a smile. "Kendra, so nice to see you! How have you been?" I asked, smiling. "Oh, I've been good, who's this?" She said, pointing to y/n. "Oh, this is my...girlfriend, y/n." I said, putting emphasis on girlfriend. "Hi, y/n, I'm Kendra, Denis' ex." She shook her hand and y/n nodded in return "You know, we've gotta get going. It was nice seeing you though" I didn't even wait for a reply, I just picked y/n up and ran out of there, "Hay! Put me down!" She whined. When we got to the other side of the street, I put her down. "What was that for?!" She asked, a bit annoyed, "You can't run that fast," "So?! Why were you running?!" She asked, I was surprised that she didn't ask any questions about Kendra "Because that situation was awkward" I laughed and grabbed her hand again. She didn't say anything about Kendra, which was surprising.
The rest of the day was amazing. I spent the whole day with her, laughing and joking around. There was one really awkward time though. We walked into this place called "Facinating" because we thought the title was cool. When we walked in, I immediately covered y/no eyes and dragged her out. "What?!" She asked again, when we were outside "It was an "adult store"" I said, laughing a bit Awkward? Yes.
