Last year, you moved here and immediately fell for Denis, your neighbor.
Drama, tears, and muc...
I didn't ask what happened, the tear stains on her face said it all. She walked through the door and immediately just melted into my arms.
Was this right? I felt like I was betraying Kerm.
Then she let go. She looked down at the ground as if she was going to say something, but no words came out. I fifted her chin but her eyes were glued to the floor. When she finally did look up at me, she still didn't say anything, but my thumb swept actoss her face as gently as possible, trying not to hurt her, but wipe her tears at the same time.
"I-I think you should go." She finally said.
My heart ripped in two, again. "What?"
She just nodded and let the thin blanket fall.
"I heard you wrong, right?" I said, making sure.
She shook her head and walked away, leaving me at her doorway. Alone. again.
"Please y,n, this isn't fair! You pull me in, then you push me away! Do mean something to you or not?"
She shook her head "Its not that." She mumbled.
"Then what is it?!" I got frustrated.
"Elijah, you have to understand, I just broke up with my boyfriend of 7 months! im hurting!" She sounded annoyed as well.
"Then why would you sleep with me? Do you feel something for me or not, y/n, I need some answers!" I realized I was getting a bit too loud and I took a breath
"I don't know! Yes, you know I do! but you have to give me some time!" She turned to face me again and I grabbed her waist pulling her back to me.
She kept her hands scrunched up by her chest and I studied her face.
"You know I can treat you better than, than this." My fingers went over her purple bruise and she flinched again.
"I know that. But what about your fans? What will they think?" She asked me
"Do you think I care?" I laughed and twirled her hair around. I could see she was contemplating the idea.
She took a breath. "I don't know." She wiggled out and tossed me my grey hoodie.
I just sighed and left. She didn't want me. That was that.
Denis's POV
I knew Elijah had left, but I didn't know why. It was 3 in the morning, and I knew for a fact that he wouldn't leave on his own time. I noticed I had been staring out my window for more than 20 minutes now, and I saw y/n walk out her door, give me a sad look, then jump down her balcony and land gracefully on her feet, much like a cat...oo...kitties...IDEA!
Her walks always took awhile, so I knew I had time.
I immediately dials Bradens number, who sounded wide awake.
"Hey! Remember tha kitten you were offering me?...yeah the grey one....is she still for sale?...great..yeah 15 minutes." That was the end of our conversation until I drove to his house and picked the 2 month old kitten up. She was extremely playful and hopped all around the car. She only almost killed me twice.
