The park had little to no street lights, and not to mention it was already 8 and the sun was set since it was late October.
You walked around waiting for Denis to arrive, but you didn't even know if he was there yet. If he was, you may not even spot him since it was so dark.
"Y/N!" His unique voice shouted from across the playground
You snapped your head around and saw him sitting at the swings under a lamp post, his brown eyes twinkling.
You made your way over expressionless, and sat on the swing next to him.
"You came." He smiled and stared at you
"I guess I had to..."
He nodded
"You know, I used to come here with Braden a long time ago." He said, swinging a bit.
"Cool." You said, not really caring.
"One time we were here, and we were talking about our dream girl." He said, staring into the sky.
Now you were intrigued.
"And what was that?"
"Well, I don't remember his, but I remember mine."
He paused for a minute, thinking about it.
"Well. I remember I wanted a girl who was beautiful, smart, witty." He began.
"But above all, I wanted a girl who loved me for me, and not because I was well known." He stopped and looked at you..
"And I think I found that." He said with a loving smile.
"Denis..." you started, feeling like you were going to cry.
You had found somebody who loved you, and only you.
"Y/N, I love you, I really do." He smiled brighter
You giggled and you could feel yourself blushing harder than ever.
He tugged on your arm, hinting to you that he wanted you with him so you sat on his lap, staring up at him.
"I love you too." You said smiling and leaning on the chain that held the swing and the pole together.
He didn't do anything, just looked at you. He was smiling and you finally saw something in him that you never really noticed before.
He was absolutely nothing like he was on camera.
He wasn't kid friendly, he drinks, he doesn't even play Roblox that often off camera.
But it was all in the best way, he was perfect. At least for you.
"I'm so sorry that I was so...protective of you." He said, face-palming.
"It's okay, really." You said
"No, it's not, you deserve better. At least from me." H e said rubbing his temples but keeping another hand wrapped around you
"But, it can't get better"
"What?"
"I've got all I want. You're. All I want." You said
He gave you that smile that made your heart melt and twirled your hair around with his fingers.
"I've been thinking." He said
This made you worried. You knew how these things ended.
"Just, about us." His expression didn't change.
"I'm going to be 20 in June. And I'm going off to college, you too"
"And?"
"And...I've been thinking about our future."
"Yeah?"
"Well. I want to be free for my twenties. I want to live life and see the world..." he started.
Oh no...
"Does this mean you wanna...break up?" You asked worried, you felt your stomach flop.
"Oh god no." He reassured you, laughing a bit like you were stupid.
Phew.
"I want to do it all with you. But...I don't want to tie you down."
"What do you mean?" You asked,
"I know. We want to be married someday. But...maybe not...now."
"Well obviously." You laughed.
"I mean, not soon. I want to be with you for my whole life, but i don't want to make it official until we're ready to have a family." He said looking out into the navy sky.
"I feel the same way. I don't want a family for years..and years..." you said
He chuckled.
"Then it's perfect."You had no idea where to start with Kermit. Where to look, where to contact her.
She changed her phone number, so that was out of the question.
Elijah was no help. He hadn't said anything and never responded to yours or Denis's texts.
The only place you could think of was her house, you had never met her father, which was odd, but maybe you would tonight.
You pulled up to her house, but only one room was lit with an extremely dim orange light.
Denis had gone home, so you were completely alone.
You decided to knock on the door and see if anybody was home.
One knock
Two knocks
Three knocks
No answer for about 2 minutes, then harsh footsteps banged across the floor
The door opened aggressively and Elijah stood there looking annoyed, but surprisingly not surprised to see you.
"What do you want?!" He hissed
"I'm just looking for Kermit...gosh"
"She doesn't go by Kermit anymore" he asked, looking at you like you were stupid.
"Whatever. Adriana. I'm here to see Adriana." You said, rolling your eyes.
"She doesn't want to see you. You weren't there when she needed you most. But I was, now go away!" He sort of yelled, and was about to slam the door in your face, but you caught it
"Too slow," you said sarcastically before pushing him out of the way and walking into the house.
"NOW WHERES MY FRIEND!" You screamed, wanting to hear a reply from Kermit
"Don't go in there, y/n, I'm warming you!" Elijah yelled at you right before you were about to open the door to Kermits bedroom
But you didn't listen. You swung open the door and Adriana was there, sitting in her knees and just staring. Staring into god knows where.
The creepiest part was the room. Everything was candle lit and it was like you'd never seen the room in her house before.
You couldn't see anything that belongs to Kermit or even Elijah for that matter anywhere around the room.
Her green eyes had been turned grey, and her mouth was wide open.
"What the fuck?!" You screamed, Scared. You bent down and put out your hand to touch her cheek
"DONT FUCKING TOUCH HER!" Elijah screamed, pulling you by your ponytail.
You shrieked in pain and kicked around until you hit his uh...manliness...
He let out a moan and fell backwards, letting you fall flat on your chest
He sat up and grabbed his crotch and kept moaning and groaning From the intimate pain you caused him.
"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!" You screamed, not caring about what Elijah had just done.
His chiseled jawbone looked up at you and he finally stoped groaning.
"Y/N, GET OUT NOW!" He yelled, pointing to the door.
"WHY?"
"DONT MAKE ME TAKE YOU OUT MYSELF!" Elijah roared, not answering your question.
You just stood there, breathing heavily and trying to figure everything out.
Adriana was still in a trance, and she hadn't flinched a bit, didn't even blink.
"IM NOT LEAVING UNTIL I HAVE SOME ANSWERS!" You screamed loudly
Elijah wouldn't have it though, he took a deep breath and grabbed you by your waist, then flipped you sideways so he could control both your arms and legs.
He carried you bridal style, though there was nothing romantic about it. One arm was grasped firmly around your arms and another around your legs. You kicked and screamed until you gave up. He just walked out the front door.
"I'm sorry." You heard him mumble.
A sharp pain began in your neck, then flowed through the rest of your body. You didn't know what was happening, just that it was painful.
That last thing you felt was somebody kissing your cheek and laying you down extremely softly on such a hard surface.
Then it went black. For like the 3rd time this year.
