Veer turned away realising that his eyes were speaking more than that was required. Shweta immediately turned and held his hand.
"What is it, Veer?", She asked softly.
"It's nothing.", He lied as he turned towards her. His eyes were getting numb.
She edged towards him and placed her hand on his chest not knowing what made her so concerned about him.

She looked deep into his eyes and said,
"Tell me Veer. I will keep it a secret. No one shall know. "
He looked back at her blankly.
Who was she to him?
He has met her just a few days ago and she was slowly becoming so close to him that he wanted to tell her one of his most deepest secrets?
His mind was telling him that she was his enemy's daughter but his heart seemed to ask him to believe her. Why did he feel that way, he didn't know.

Veer couldn't help but hug her tightly.
"Thank you.", He says softly as for a while she stood shocked. Wasn't he her father's biggest enemy? She slowly embraced him back and replied,
"Welcome."
He didn't leave her embrace as tears flowed down his eyes.
"I loved dad. He always wanted me to be like him. Kind, generous and good - hearted. I'm not what he wanted me to be! I am cruel, heartless and everything that he didn't want his son to be! I didn't want to be this! Trust me, I didn't. It is all because of her!", His last sentence caught Shweta's attention.
Who was this 'her'?

Veer immediately moved away realising what he had let out. He immediately rubbed off his tears and turned.
"Who is she?", Shweta asked but he didn't turn back and reply.
She pulled him by his hand from behind.
"Tell me, please.", She pleaded looking deep into his eyes.
"I cannot. I must not.", Saying so he immediately walked out of the room.

Next morning was a good and charming one. Veer was suddenly in a very good mood! Very unnatural indeed because he was mostly melancholic in the morning.

We were in the dining table, having our breakfast when Veer said in a mocking manner to Shweta who sat exactly opposite to him on the other end,
" So Shweta, you must be very exhausted today, right? ", He said with mischievous smirk.
" And why do you think so, mister? ", she replied in the same teasing tone.
" After all you are a princess.. You must get tired. You can't bear on with so much dancing, can you? "
"Mr. I am Fitter than Everyone, you look tired not I.", She replied with the same mischievous smirk as Veer's.
"Oh please! You are heavier than even a truck. I remember carrying you up to the temple. My hands are still aching.", He replied.

Everybody else at the dining table stared at them in shock!

" Mom look at him. Forever behind my back", she said looking at mom like one of those helpless sisters who is being teased by her brother though the terminology is quite wrong.

Every body could actually notice that they feelings towards each other had softened. I couldn't help but smile that them, at least they had begun liking each other.

Suddenly I heard something. Like a vase falling. I turned to see but no one was my there!
" What's wrong Shaurya? ", Veer asked.
" Well.. Nothing.", I replied and turned back to my plate and continued with my breakfast.
Then it was time to leave for office as we had an important meeting.
"Meet you later, Mrs. I Think I Am Fit.", He said to Shweta.
"Meet you sooner, Mr. I'm Fit.", She said as she stood up from the dining table. Grandma was leaving that dah that Veer and I were also dropping her at the airport.

It was around seven or eight in the evening when Veer and I reached home. We entered into our mansion. It was completely silent. There was no one to greet us! Not a single sign of life was present.
This was deeply suspicious!
Where could everyone go without informing us?! We were standing in the middle of our living room when suddenly the door behind us shut automatically.

Veer and I turned back in the same time and saw someone who we didn't really want to see again in our lives, Akhilesh Khanna stood in front of us with two revolvers in both hands and aimed at us.

"Surprise.. ", he said in a cold voice to Veer. I could feel cold sweat flow down my forehead.
" For what happiness do you think you are here?! ", Veer said in a tough voice.
" Wasn't yesterday your birthday Veer? It was. And I thought of presenting your forever imprisonment to you! Trust me, thus time I have done No mistakes. I'm prepared to defeat you.", saying so he started laughing, his devilish laugh.
Just then he signalled with his fingers and suddenly from no where four guards came out and held our hands tightly. I tried my best to free myself, but to no avail. I couldn't do anything!
Suddenly they blindfolded both of us from behind and pulled us to somewhere and pushed us into a room.

After we were pushed inside I and Veer removed the blindfolds and looked around. It was a kind of small room with nothing in it. A kind of jail in which we were Imprisoned!

"How could this happen?! ",  Veer said in disgust.
" I have no idea! ", I replied. I was also irritated and disgusted with whatever had happened.
Then suddenly Veer's expression changed, as if he had just realized everything.
" What happened Veer? ", I asked.
" Shweta. ", he said," Shweta can only do this to us, only she! ", he said pouring out his anger.
" But no. She couldn't have done tHys to us again.", he again said as if not sure about his hasty conclusion,
" I- I don't know! Is she Trustworthy or A Betrayer?! ", he said unsure of everything he thought.
