I eavesdrop on Dad and Grace's conversation.
"I wish she was here too but I don't have a choice because I don't want to upset your sister. You know that I love you guys and you two are my first priority."
And Harry?
"Yes him too. But I have feelings too and as much as I love you guys. I love her too cause she makes me happy."
Just like Mom did?
"No your Mom is special and she will always be special."
I know Dad, that's why I don't have a problem with you being with your girlfriend.
I feel someone's hands part my back. I turn around to find it's Katy.
"Don't tell me you're changing your mind,about what we talked about."
I don't know,it's just that he seems happy when he talks about her.
"Even though she's going to replace your mom. Do you want that to happen?"
"That's not going to happen," Harry's voice responds before I can.
You think so? I ask him.
"Yes Taylor, I mean your Dad's girlfriend she's a nice person,just give her a chance and your dad. Don't you want to see him happy?"
I do.
"Then go and tell him, you will let him be with her. Am sure that will make him happy."
Alright, I tell him as I hug him.
Though I notice Katy leave,she's probably headed to the kitchen.
"I will only tell him if you accompany me."
Oh no am in trouble with him but I will wait for you here.
I walk in and find him and Grace laughing.
"Dad I want to tell you something."
Honey if you're still upset with me. I understand.
"No Dad, am not upset with you anymore and I will let you marry her,your girlfriend. So long it makes you happy and all this is thanks to Harry."
Oh my gosh! Thank you very much,he tells me while embracing me and Grace into a hug.
