chapter fifteen

I follow Harry as he walks out of the house.

When we reach the pool house or study as John calls it. He opens the door then leads his way in..

"Why are you so quiet. Did the cat bite your tongue or what? Cause just two hours ago you were hoping no one helps me but it turned out we were coming at the same location and just so you know your uncle is the one who helped me or my husband to be."

I don't have anything to tell you.

"Oh now am Taylor, what happened to uptight Taylor?"

My uncle will be with you shortly. If you need anything I will ask one of the servants to be at your service, he tells me then immediately walks out before I could say anything.

I can't believe my uncle is going to marry Taylor, is he fucking crazy. That girl is fuck.....!

"What's wrong Harry, don't tell me,you're also against me marrying Taylor?"

I don't know uncle. I mean all this is strange honestly. I mean do you even know this girl and her family?

"Yes I do Harry but mostly I love her. She's amazing, weird,she has beautiful blue eyes that are so innocent and amazing like the ocean. Then talk about her smile. Oh my gosh, when she smiles,I feel like I can stare at her the whole damn day. She's smart and perfect. She's no ordinary girl that's why I feel in love with her."

Wow is all I say to myself.

"If you love her uncle then I think you should go ahead with the wedding. I care about you a lot and I love you,Cara and Grace. You guys mean everything to me."

Thank you Harry for your support. This means a lot to me.

"You're welcome, but have managed to talk to Cara?"

No cause she didn't open the door.

I can try and talk to her.

Yeah sure,she adores you and am sure she will listen to you. I will really appreciate that.

I watch him as he walks out of the house.

Am not sure why but I felt weird,when he was  talking about Taylor. He talks about her like she's an angel or something. Not like the cold hearted girl that's so bitter that I know.

I walk to Cara's room.

I knock three times on her door.

"No dad leave,I don't want you. Go and be with your god digger."

Cara, it's me Harry.

Am surprised,she opens in no time.

"Oh Harry, am glad it's you,did you see what Dad just did out there,he brought a gold digger who's almost my age,saying he wants to marry her. Where did he find her?"

That's not it Cara. Can't you see your Dad is happy with her?

No he was happy with my mom and not her. Why does he need her?

Cause he loves her. If you love your dad you will at least accept her and let him be happy.

"No Harry seems like you are on his side. I want you to leave my room," she yells.

Please calm down Cara, am just trying to reason with you.

"No you're not, you're siding with him."

I notice Katy walks in.

"It's fine Harry, I will talk to her. Go and do your thing am sure she will listen to me."

I leave and walk straight to my room. Am not sure why but I stare outside my window. I notice my uncle and Taylor are still in the study. I decide to go and eavesdrop on them. Am not even sure why.

"I can't marry you,am so sorry John. Your daughter insulted me but that's not my problem cause I know am nothing like how she described but you slapped her. I know how she feels. I don't want to be the reason you and her stopped having the relationship you share with her,which I wish I shared with my Dad. I think we should lay low for now. I will give you and your family time to process all this."

"No Taylor don't do this to me,you know I love you and I want to be with you."

"I know you love me but I want you to love your kids more. I would hate it if my Dad choose to be with someone am not okay with. I would feel like she wants to replace me. I will marry you John as I promised you but not like this."

"Alright baby."

   I notice they are quiet. Which is obvious to me they are kissing.

Am not sure why but I feel jealous.

I decide to head to the bar and drink cause this feeling is so unlike me.
