chapter twenty two

I can't believe Harry kissed me this afternoon, just cause we got along for a few hours doesn't mean I forgive him and I don't think his to blame for my Father's death.

His kiss was....

Why am I thinking of Harry when am waiting for John here.

I see him approaching my table in now time. His dressed casual and this is my first time seeing him dressed like this but he looks perfect.

I notice his smiling. I smile back cause I can't help it.

"Hey baby how are you? I miss you so damn much."

I miss you more,I tell him.

Immediately he sits down. A waiter comes to our table to take our order then she leaves soon after.

"I have two things to tell you," he tells me.

Good or bad?

Both.

"Well start with the bad though wait till our food is served unless you want this dinner to turn into a disaster cause I turn to lose my appetite."

Then I might as well wait till we are done.

"No John don't get me wrong,if it's important you can tell me now."

Oh the waitress is here,I might as well tell you now.

  Am nervous as fuck to hear what the bad news is. I wish I choose the good news to come first but the last laugh is always better.

OK tell me.

"Your Mom came to visit me at the office today." 

Well why and what did she want?

"She came to tell me that she's in agreement with us getting married."

Are you being serious cause that's so unlike her. When she says no she stands on no.

"Well she said she has seen how much we love each other and it so turns out that there's nothing she can do to change that apart from live with it."

I hope it's not what am thinking cause my mom never does anything nice for free,it always comes at a price and I just hope she didn't ask money from him but if she did he would have told me. I know John can't hide anything from me unless of course he can but am not going to ask him cause I don't want to seem doubtful.

Alright, is all I say to him.

  "And the good news is that we are getting married next week. My daughter agreed to give us a chance and I don't want to waste any time. So we are getting married next."

Next week? Baby that's definitely crazy. I mean we can't plan a wedding in a week.

"Well don't worry about that just worry about the dress that's all."

Okay,I will do just that.

He takes my hand and puts a ring on it.

"You don't know how much I have been dreaming of finally doing this and now you're officially engaged miss swift. I can't wait to call you Mrs Mayer.

I can't help but smile.

" I can't wait either."

Well you don't have to wait for a long time cause only six days left till you and me are officially married.

  He leans  in to kiss me and I can't help but think of the kiss I shared with Harry. What was he even thinking for him to do that?

Oh my gosh I actually forgot am with John right now. I kiss him back gently.

We finish our meal and leave the hotel.

   He drops me in pur drive way. I watch him as he drives off.

I start to walk to our doorway. I notice someone is sitting there and it's Harry am sure cause of his messy hair.

"What are you doing here?"

I don't know but I was worried I thought you're upset with me after what happened this afternoon.

"You mean,you kissing me. Why did you do that?"

Am not sure why I did but everything in me wanted to do so.

Am not sure what to tell him. We both stand in silence starring at each other. I don't notice him move to close to me but I can feel his hands on me. In no time his kissing me.

Am fighting with everything in me not to  give in to temptation.

I break free from him and his kiss then slap him.
