Okay, so I've decided to take a little bit of a different approach with this story. From now on, it will be written out like a journal or diary, based on true events of my life. I wish I didn't throw out the other ones since I only found one. But, the main character will be changed to me, Karu. This is for those of you who want to know more about me. Thanks! Karu oUT.

Dear Journal,

Today after I had my daily 30 minutes on the computer, I got so angry at my brother Ivan that I exploded with anger. Yesterday, Oreo our cat got on the Wii fit. You say what? Wii fit?! (At the time, this was a huge thing that everyone wanted to have) Yes, it is a long story, but I am in no hurry so I will tell it to you. One year ago on Christmas Day, we got a Wii from Santa. (This is when I still believed in him) The only game we had was Wii sports. Then we bought Wii Play, Ultimate Shooting Gallery, Transformers, Legend of Zelda, and New Super Mario Bros. This year Santa got us Wii Fit, Lego Rock Band, and Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword. Two days ago everyone except for Oreo (cat). The next day we put Oreo on.

Story Version:

I was sitting at the computer watching my favorite YouTubers, The YOGSCAST. They had uploaded a new Minecraft video and eight-year-old me listened intently to all of the cursings at full volume with no headphones on. At this time, we had a Dell computer downstairs which currently no longer works. It still has Windows XP on it to this very day. Since I was watching in the basement, I had the privacy of listening with no one else around, so I blasted that stuff. The timer on the electric stove (We have a gas one now) was set to thirty minutes, and it had gone off right then. I shut down the computer and trudged upstairs to where my brother, Ivan was waiting.

"You're an idiot." He said plainly. At the time when I was eight, he was twelve (In real life his name is not Ivan) We loved to argue all the time since the only electronics we had were our Nintendo ds's, the computer, and the TV. The computer and ds's we could only spend 30 minutes on. The TV was always on one of Mom or Dad's TV shows, and they were boring to our younger selves. So, with nothing to do, we argued.

"Oh yeah? Then what does that make you?" I shot back. We both royally sucked at making comebacks, so most of our conversations went like "nuh-uh" "ya-ha" "nuh-uh" "YA-HA!" and so on. This was one of those times.

"Smarter than you," Ivan smirked.

"No, you're not."

"Yes, I am."

"No, you're NOT."

"Yes, I AM!"

"NO, YOU'RE NOT!"

"YES, I AM!" He screeched. I stomped past him into my room and slammed the door. I decided to pick up my journal and vent.

"One year ago on Christmas Day, we got a Wii from Santa."

One year ago (2010), Christmas Day:

Everyone was gathered around the tree in their pajamas at around 8:00 AM. Even Roderich (not real name) was up, which was surprising since that kid could sleep for days. (Another one of my brothers, when I was eight (2011) he would've been fourteen irl, so he's six years older than me.)

"Open your presents!" Said, Mom. I don't exactly remember what we got individually. Antonio (not real name)(oldest brother eight years older than me and 16 in 2011.) got up and grabbed the present for the whole family, from 'Santa'. He ripped open the packaging, revealing the new Nintendo Wii that all the 'cool kids' had in those days.

"Wow!" We marveled at the new fangled technology. Inside the box was the game system and the game 'Wii Sports'. Later that day, we spent around two hours on it, playing around with all the mechanics.

"Then we bought Wii Play, Ultimate Shooting Gallery, Transformers, Legend of Zelda, and New Super Mario Bros." Not all within the span of one month, but throughout the year. "This year Santa got us Wii Fit, Lego Rock Band, and Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword."

Two days ago (2011), Christmas Day:

Once again, we sat around the tree in our pj's. Mom and Dad handed us our presents and we opened them. I can't remember what Ivan and Antonio got, but I unveiled a Lego fire station set. I still have it in the basement to this day, granted it's not all in one piece. Roderich had gotten Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword with a complete handbook, and Lego Rock Band.  We unwrapped the family gift; low and behold, it was a Wii Fit balance board with the game Wii Fit Plus like my mom had wanted. We still have the Wii to this day.

We checked it out and put ourselves with own accounts on the Wii Fit.

"The next day we put Oreo on."

Yesterday, December 26 (2011):

I was playing on the Wii Fit and noticed that there was a setting where you could weigh pets on it, so I gave our cat Oreo an account. I told Mom about this and she picked up the cat and stood on the balance board while it weighed Oreo. Oreo's not a big cat, she's probably a runt since she's so small, even for a female cat. She weighed eight pounds. In 2011, she was three. She currently weighs eleven, since it's winter and she's not been outside much. She's going to be ten soon in April of this year (2017).
