Dear Journal,
On Friday, 11/13, something horrific happened that shocked the world, but mainly France. I didn't hear about it until the following Saturday morning. France had been bombed by ISIS. I found myself think; Who would do such a horrible thing as to kill hundreds of people?

Now we get into the terrorist attack years, 2015 and 2016. I remember looking at the news in 2016 and every. single. day. There would be a report on a terrorist attack somewhere in the world. It became such a normal thing that I would scroll right past and think again? It's sickening to think that our world used to be like this only a year ago.
