Authors~P.O.V

The day was Thursday May 25, a week after Lucy had her spectacular graduation party. Natsu was there and they danced together like no one else in the world existed, but like every fairy tale the night came to an end with a friendly hug and a parting. Today on the other hand was nothing anyone expected, especially Natsu and Lucy.

Natsu's~P.O.V

*Bzz-Bzz* 'Damn phone' I woke from an annoying text message on my phone.

Hey son don't forget to pick up your new suit from the drycleaners, your mother paid good money to have that made for you. Also don't be late to the party we will want you there before it even starts. -Dad

Ok I will pick it up. What time do I have to be there? -Natsu

Be home about 15 minutes before 6 so we can prep you on why you must be here. -Dad

Sure -Natsu

I got out of bed and it was around 6am so I had plenty of time to get up and get ready because I'm not a girl I won't need a whole day 'Damn dad waking me so early on a Thursday luckily this is one of the only days I don't have classes. I changed into my jogging clothes and took my morning run around the block. 'I hope I see Lucy soon I want to text her but would that be weird' 'Yes it would be weird you texting an underage girl' 'Oh shut up, at least she's not in high school any more' I wasn't paying attention and when I rounded the corner I came in contact with a blonde woman that landed right on her butt. 'Lucy?' When the lady looked up at me she had a scowl on her face that immediately disappeared when she noticed me. She looked a lot like Lucy but I would say at least 10 years older, 'Maybe an older sister?'.

"Sorry ma'am I wasn't paying attention, are you ok? Are you hurt?" I asked while putting out a hand to help her up and she took it and I pulled her up and put my other hand on her opposite elbow to ensure she was steady.

"Oh, thank you I'm fine. You must not recognize me, I'm Layla Heartfilia a business partner of your fathers Natsu." 'Oh right Layla Heartfilia, Jude Heartfilia's wife, my mom and dad's best friend and business partner' 'But that doesn't explain Lucy's similarities' 'You're an idiot one day you'll realize it'. "Well I was just on my way to my daughters apartment to help her get ready, I'll see you tonight Natsu. Oh, and keep your eyes peeled tonight, she'll be there." She said that last part in sort of a whisper and walked around me towards the townhouses and apartments. 'What the hell is that supposed to mean, She'll be there, who?' I shook my head and continued my jog.

Time~Skip

I was pulling up to my parent's house, luckily before any press could get there. I pushed the garage opener that opened up the 8 car garage and pulled into the one empty spot that was mine in the first place. When I entered the house the garage door lead to a hallway that was connected to the kitchen, I saw maids and butlers rushing around with platers of food and small coolers with champagne in them.

"Mom, Dad you said be early here I am." I shouted and then my head lurched forward after receiving a slap from the unknown. "What the he-hello mother why on earth did you greet your son with a slap on the head?" I saved my self quickly and questioned the woman that I have called mom since I could speak. I'm lucky I stopped myself when I did or I earn another slap from mom.
