Lucy's~P.O.V

After my amazing birthday, the next day Natsu took me out for a date and it was super nice and I had an amazing time. But during dinner Natsu gave me some news on how he wasn't going to be able to take me out for a while because he had to travel to Australia for business and then was occupied with meeting the following week. So I decided to surprise him when he comes back with a diner at his place. First I pick him up from the airport and I know he'll be tired so I'll take him home and then he can sleep and then I wake him up and diner will be ready. I know it's none of my business to help him but what else could I do for this amazing, hardworking man I call my boyfriend. I already notified his staff and then his security told me everything about his flight and how I can pick him up at this time and where.

Time~Skip~Natsu's~Return

I was busy with looking at CU's website and checking the prices for dorms and all allowed necessities, because if it was more than what I was paying now then I was just going to stay here in my apartment for college. While I was searching the web page my phone buzzed, 'Probably a text?' I picked it up and it was Natsu.

Hey Luce, how's your week been, I really hate work because I can't see you everyday. But my flights tonight, so tomorrow maybe we can do something? -Natsu ❤❤

What time does your flight come in? -Lucy. I was only asking so it doesn't seem suspicious, even though I already knew and had an alarm so I can get Natsu at 7.

We land about 7, 7:30. -Natsu ❤❤

Ok, well I guess I see you tomorrow, if you're not busy. -Lucy. But he must have forgot he doesn't have time tomorrow to do anything because of his work and that is why I'm surprising him tonight.

Yeah see you tomorrow Luce, I hope you miss me as much as I missed you. -Natsu ❤❤

'Always Natsu, I always miss you if you're gone.' I sighed and closed my computer, focusing more on my phone. Plue moved at the end of my bed and I crawled over next to him to start cuddling him.

"Hey baby Plue, sorry I haven't had time with you and once again I'm leaving you here all by your lonesome." I said, then kissed his rolls on his face, he just turned away and slept, 'Love you too buddy'. I got up and made sure he had food and water then I walked to my bookshelf to see what I should make tonight for Natsu. 'Ok, so he likes spicy things and I'm not a big fan of them, sooo...' 'I guess I will make him spicy meat of some sort and then have little side dishes that I can enjoy' 'Oh and I can make him some dessert, maybe chocolate or cake, I don't know, I figure it out by then'. I watched as Plue got up and walked to my pillows and lay on them, and being the dog he is he started to drool, a lot, 'New pillows for me and he can have those.' I made a face of disgust and then had an Idea.

Hey Natsu, I know you're busy but you like Plue right? -Lucy I didn't get a answer in the past five minutes, but that's ok I still have time before we need to leave. Oh right I might as well go grocery shopping so I can make the food,'Wow Lucy that's a smart idea, did you come up with it on your own?' 'Oh shut it conscience, I am you and you are me so either way we're both idiots' 'Great now I'm talking to myself, in my head. Where's the phone so I can call the asylum'. I got my keys after my-self argument and my phone, then headed to my car. *Ping-Ping* I pulled out my phone after it buzzed and checked to see who it was, 'Natsu,of course' I put it on the center console and continued to drive. I pulled up outside of the mini-mart and shut the car off and locked it. I grabbed my purse, which had everything I needed, and got a little shopping cart, I started with some meat and decided on steak and then went to the vegetables. I checked my text from Natsu while shopping,
