A Weekend Away

As summer heats up people were going on vacation, or going to the beach. But Natsu and Lucy were both being couch potatoes. Not together but in separate rooms in separate houses, and that's when they got news that they were having a weekend away to a beach resort.

"Lucy a chain of companies are having an annual summer party so we're to attend and it's going to be at Akane Beach Resort, so make sure to pack tonight so you don't have to rush it tomorrow." Layla Heartfilia explained to her daughter and then left the room to go prepare herself for the trip. Lucy sighed but did as her mother said because her mom was right she would totally forget to pack later today and then would be rushing to pack tomorrow. After an hour of deciding to take she had everything packed in a single suitcase and threw herself back on her bed and continued to watch Strong Woman Do Bong Soon and swoon over Park Hyung-Sik. (A/N: This is literally me anyone else watch Korean Drama's?) 

Meanwhile at Natsu's apartment he and Gray were on the Xbox One playing mortal combat and Natsu was winning so Gray kicked Natsu's control and then they brawling. *beep-beep* *ping-ping* Natsu and gray stopped fighting and looked at their phones.

"Hey did your parents just message you about going to a resort?" Gray asked as he look up from his phone and over to Natsu, who was reading a message too. Natsu nodded and then replied to his mom.

Ok mom I'll have everything packed. -Natsu

Thank you Natsu, you're exactly like your father, always forgetting. -Mom (Natsume)

Uh mom do you know if the Heartfilia's will be there? -Natsu

Aww, sweetie don't worry you'll see Lucy this weekend. -Mom

P.S. If Lucy's parents allow, we'll give you guys your own suite. 😉😉 -Mom

Natsu blushed and turned off his phone, because he wasn't sure how to reply to that, 'God my parents are nuts, they're really desperate for grandchildren' He thought and sighed and looked over to Gray who was slipping his shoes on.

"You leaving to go pack?" Natsu said while picking up his and Gray's controllers and turning the Xbox off.

"Yeah, plus I have a date with Juvia because she's been bothering me a lot sometimes I question myself, "Why are you dating this crazy girl again?"" He sweat dropped and then picked up his pants.

"What the hell Gray how do your pants come off while you're putting shoes on!" Natsu yelled at Gray and threw a pillow at him, "Get out my apartment you pervert." Natsu shouted and kicked Gray out the door and locked it, before they could start another fight.

"Whatever idiot, I don't have time to argue with you." Natsu heard Gray shout from outside the door. Natsu was going to open the door and smack him but decided to be the better person and not to. He went to his room and he was pulled out a little suitcase and began to toss clothes from the floor, his closet and from under his bed all just going in the suitcase, and most likely less than half of them were clean. Within 10 minutes Natsu had everything ready and packed toiletries and all.

Not only were the Dragneel's and Heartfilia's attending but many others too such as, the Mcgarden's, the Agria, the Fullbuster's and many others this was going to be one fun summer weekend.

Time~Skip~To~Friday~Night

Lucy's~P.O.V 

"Lu...we're here, w... u..." I believe it was mom shaking me awake. I turned in my seat and my eyes fluttered open to see the windows pitch black, which meant it was night time. I tried to stretch but obviously a car isn't a very spacious place, the driver opened the door and I got out to see a very brightly lit hotel, the Akane Beach Resort. This resort was known for being one of the best in the country but I've only been here a couple times and it was pretty fun. I looked around and a lot of people were arriving and most of them I recognized as fellow business partners of the Heartfilia's.
