Fires blazed in every possible place, Chaos filled the air and dead guards and kids lay all over the ground of the arena. Alex was covered in blood, he went to find Eleven and Twelve, whom he found in a corner, sweaty and grinning. "How often does this happen?", Alex asked. "About twice a month", Eleven said happily. "Loads of kids just died because of what you call 'fun'". Eleven and Twelve nodded. "That's how it goes. It's a cycle, most kids go crazy anyway and find a way to kill themselves", Twelve said. Alex saw kids starting to drag the dead bodies to the field and digging shallow graves. "Time to get back into the routine", Eleven said begrudgingly. Twelve and Alex followed. Alex made his way to his section of the field with the other kids. Alex nodded a hi to Light, who smiled back. Light was Japanese, he had short black hair, green eyes and looked about fifteen. "How was the riot?", Light asked in broken English. "Very violent", Alex said. Light nodded. "Lot's of people died", Alex said. "That's the way life is;Tragedy." Light said, as he started to angrily dig.
After another six hard hours of hard digging, Alex was dirty, hungry and homesick. He spotted Eleven and Twelve over at the food line, getting Glop. "Hey guys", Alex said in a tired tone. "Hey, what's up?", Eleven said. "Nothing much, you?", Alex said. "How may died today of Arena disease?", Twelve asked Eleven. "Two". This was quite a low number of deaths for Arena disease. Light approached Eleven and Twelve, but smiled when he saw Alex. "There is a person coming in the gates", Light said. "Like I did". Everyone once again gathered around the new person who got thrown in by the guards. The new kid was a girl, and looked eerily looked a lot like Alex. She got up, brushed herself off and the first words out of her mouth was; "Hi Alex, it's me Ellie. Your sister".
