"What is she healing from?", Twelve asked Thirty Nine, on behalf of Alex. "A bite", Three said, gravely. "A bite?!", Alex shouted, getting up and attempting again to get to Ellie. "What is the bite from?!", Eleven asked. "A bite from a Death Dealer!", Four said. "A Death Dealer?!", Alex said. Thirty-Nine nodded. "What is a Death Dealer?", Alex asked. "An animal that projects illusions and gets inside your head once it bites you. It tries to deal you better things for your life like money and expensive stuff", Thirteen said. "So basically, Ellie is in a game of roulette with that animal", Eleven said. Thirteen nodded. "Has anyone escaped from a Death Dealer?", Alex asked frantically. Thirty-Nine said a deadpanned, "No". Alex went down to his knees, he sobbed and choked a "Please, we can get through this together". Eleven and Twelve comforted Alex, as he hoped his message would get through.

Ellie was sitting at a table with the Death Dealer. The Death Dealer was a skeleton dressed in a black trench coat and had four cases on the table in front of Ellie. Its head was a wolfs skull with a serpent-like neck. "Just give up, Ellie", the Death Dealer said, extending Ellie on his undead tongue. Ellie gave the Death Dealer a dirty look, before looking at the four cases, each closed. The Death Dealer pushed the four cases in front of Ellie, each one said "FATE", in capital letters, scratched, letters. "Let fate decide your future", The Death Dealer said. Elie picked the third case, The Death Dealer opened it and everything went red, she was free from her body, free from the Arena, free from Alex.

Ellie went pale within seconds of her choosing her fate. Three checked for a pulse, which there wasn't. "I'm sorry, she lost her battle", Three said, sympathy in his voice. Alex broke down, he hugged his sister, and sobbed, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry I wasn't there for you. Sorry for not being the best brother". Twelve took him away and Eleven dragged her body under the shade of one of the walls. "It's not your fault", Twelve said. "Don't blame yourself". Alex wiped his eyes, before saying, "Everything s my fault, I never should have knocked on our new neighbour's door", Alex said. This stopped Twelve in her tracks. "This is how you were brought here?", she asked. Alex nodded. "He said come on in, opened his closet door and I was knocked out". Twelve heard whispers, they were the Arena talking to her, spreading lies, it was coming undone. Everything was coming undone.
