Chapter 17

"Feeling okay?" Ashton asked as we got into the car. I nodded. "Okay good try to get some rest and eat okay?" I nodded as we pulled out of the hospital parking lot. They finally let me go.

We went to McDonald's and got burgers. "Hey where's the fries?" I asked as I looked into the bag.

"I didn't get any."

"Why?" "Because you need to eat healthier. The dr said you lost 5 pounds and you're still under weight for your age. You should be a least 100 pounds." He said sighing as we drove out of the parking lot.

"Thought you said I've been eating fine!" I cried. "Watch your tone." I mentally rolled my eyes. "You have been. Just not enough."

"Nothing's ever enough." I whispered. "What?" "You heard me. Nothing I do is good enough for you." I snapped.

"What are you talking about?" "You know exactly what I'm talking about. I was in the hospital for almost 24 hours and all you say is 'you have to get healthier. You can't have fries because you're underweight' and I'm tried of it! Why can't you just let me be! Get off my case!"

"Abby..." "Oh don't just Abby me! That's all you have to say?" "Stop it right now." "Stop what?" "Stop it! I care about you! I'd just wish you'd understand that." He said sighing.

"Oh she fell asleep." "Just wake her up! Pour water on her!" Calum yelled. "No I'll get her." The boys nodded as I carried her upstairs. "Why are you so stupid?" Luke said as they went up. "Shut up." He said pushing Luke. Luke rolled his eyes as he went to his room.

We were watching a movie downstairs. Abby ate all her food so we let her watch whatever she wanted. She chose Frozen. Which made Calum mad but the rest of us boys didn't care.

"Good night." I said as I put her on her bed. "Ash?" "Yeah?" "Stay." I nodded as I laid down with her.

She smiled and fell back asleep. God. I loved her so much. She's like the best thing that happened besides the band.

I was on my phone for a little bit when I got a text from my girlfriend Alissa.

"Hey baby everything okay? Haven't heard from you in awhile. Hope everything's okay."

Shit. I've been so distracted with Abby and the email that I almost forgot about her. I know it sounds bad but Abby needs me right now. Hopefully she'll understand.

"Hey babe sorry there's been a lot of stuff going on but I'll explain it soon can't wait to see you soon"

She'll understand. Hopefully.
