Everything ToG and ACOTAR

Tam Lin

Hello all you fangirls. So there's a couple things happening in my life right now: my wifi is being shit, I'm typing this on my phone, and I just realized that this book is so far all ACOTAR stuff though it's supposed to be ToG too.

And yes this update is about ACOTAR too, go ahead and sue me (actually don't, that wouldn't be fun.)

So we all hate Tamlin right? Well most of us do. This dude is pretty awful, but believe it or not, he was based off a guy from a myth/fairy tale/thing named Tam Lin.

I'd known this for a while and today I was like hey, I'll search him up. So I did, and this is what I found.

So there's these woods called Carterhaugh. Tam Lin is there and whenever young maidens pass through, he demands payment from them. One girl named Janet is walking through the woods when TA-DA Tam Lin appears! He asks her why she's here and she says that Carterhaugh is rightfully hers. So he does some stuff and then she's off, back home, but oh no she's pregnant. Her parents are like OH NO MY DEAR WHO? And she says "my lover is elven." She then returns to Tam Lin and he explains that he is not elven but a mortal captured by the Queen of the Faeries (oh no please no) and that he must be SACRIFICED TO HELL FOR AS PARTNOF THE FAERIE TITHE (what the hell is wrong with these Faeries). Then he explains how she can free him. On Halloween night she must pull him from his horse, hold on to him as he Shapeshifts into tons of horrible creatures, then throw him in a well when he turns to flame. When he returns to his normal form she must cover him with her green mantle and TA DA he's free! Of course she does to the rage of the Queen of the Faeries.

GODS IM DYING ITS PRETTY MUCH THE EXACT SAME THING AHH!
