It felt like an eternity before we landed, but when we finally touched the ground I didn't feel ready. It was time to fight for her like she did so many times for us, sometimes without even meaning to. We all knew it. We would either come back with Mare or all die trying.
I landed us in the airfield as cover for the jet. That's when it got iffy. First I knocked out 3 guards roughly our sizes tied them up and took there clothes. Then I put a ring of fire around them for a bit of extra time. After we had changed it was Kilorns turn. Kilorn was to use his skills as a thief to the key to Mare's cage, but there's only one person with that Maven.
"How am I supposed to get that key and not die?"Kilorn might as well screamed.
"Same way you pickpocket anyone. Or not I really don't care just do it." I said just a little quieter than Kilorn. When he ran off to do his part. Farley and I split up. She went to the cells but I knew better. I went to Mares old room. Kilorn came to me first with the key. Golden twisted into a heart, beautiful just like her. I opened the door, and there she was sitting on the bed, almost as if she was waiting for me. As I took a step into the room I alerted her of my presence, " Mare it me Cal. " She turned to face me and by time I stopped talking she looked murderous .
