"How am I supposed to get that key and not die?" I whispered hoarsely. My throat in pain.
"The same way you pickpocket anyone. Or not I don't really care. " Cal whispered so quietly I almost didn't hear him. Farley nodded in agreement. So steal the most protected key in the kingdom, from the most protected man in the kingdom, with fire powers. Easy. I ran off to get the key.
First I slipped though the door and knocked out the guard that would be in the change and took his spot. I slid in seamlessly. Then it got hard, I had a gun and shot three guards at the same time. Then the other three. Only three more to go but they had there guns out now. Maven just stood there watching smiling knowing exactly what was happening.
"Stop, guards are useless. " he said turning away from me. He grabbed a key off the throne it was gold the top twisted into a heart. So Cal was right he's still in love with her. Idiot
"Here take it, see her, she's changed now, she's mine now. " He said in a creepy possessive way.
"Thanks King Crazy." I said laphing and running out of the throne room to find Cal.
As soon as I gave Cal the keys he walked in. "Mare it's me Cal. " She turned suddenly ready to kill.
