The maids came in and changed me into a beautiful white wedding dress. It had red the color of my blood and was decorated with elegant silver the color of my loves blood.

I was ready for the wedding. The maids said that the guards would be in soon take me to my love. Today I will marry Maven Calore and become his Red queen. How amazing was today? It was a new day and age you made of the real true love of Maven and I. We have overcome all of the obstacles, obstacles of his brother, the Scarlet Guard, one with good intentions but a bad leader.

As I turned around ready for my debut ready for the life I always wanted, ready to see my King I heard a voice that I swore if I ever heard again I would electrocute the vocal chords that the words were formed in.  I heard the sound of Cals voice. And I knew it was time for him to die, so I can live in peace with my perfect King. I feel electricity crackle between my fingers. "Kilorn, leave while you still can." I shout loud enough for him to hear. No was the response. "So be it." A streak of purple white leaves my hands hitting him in the chest. Not enough to kill but enough to knock him out for the fight. His knees buckle with the agony, sending him to the ground. I pause to look at him, waiting for him to breathe. His chest rises and I looked at Cal his face horrified.

"He's not dead," she snarls. "But you will be."

My legs move on their own, swinging out in a maneuver I've used in the Stilts a hundred times. My foot connects with his leg, sweeping it out from under him, and he crashes to the floor under me. I'm on him in a second, my hands crackling with electricity, even as they collide against his face. Pain sears through my knucklebones but I keep going, wanting to see his silver blood.

"That's for Shade," I roar.

Confusion flickers on his face, but I payed it no attention the next time I my fist came down it was met with a wall of fire. And all around us, a fire too bright for Maven erupted. Feeding on the oxygen it ate everything in its path making it's way to us in the center of the room.

It catches me off guard, giving him an opportunity to knock me off him. I'm the one pinned now, looking up at the burning, flames of a twisted prince. The sparks die in my hands, driven away by fear and exhaustion. Even the healers won't be able to save me after this.

He will kill me. It's what he does he's evil. I wait for death comforted that Maven knows I love him and will kill Cal for me.

Instead I was hit with a flaming hand sent into a deep dark black. I know where he's taking me, too bad my dress is ruined.
