My fingers tapped along the keyboard of my black laptop as I sat in the small Internet cafe. My brown duffle bag at my feet and my elbow length black hair pulled to the side, slung over my left shoulder as I sat contently examining the screen.

Never in my life had I been this desperate to find work. After being kicked out of home, my parents were refusing to pay for the rest of my college tuition. I'm only just about to begin my second year at UCLA.

Why did I get kicked out of home?

My parents are very proper, high class people. When videos were flying around of their angelic daughter high, passed out, and half naked at parties, they decided they didn't need me to tarnish their pristine reputation. Given that I'm nineteen years old, they didn't exactly need to put up with me either if they didn't want to.

My eyes narrowed as an advertisement came up on the side of the screen, 'make easy money, become a sugar baby today!'
Any money was good money, right?

I had honestly never heard of a sugar baby before, of course everyone knew what a sugar daddy was, but I had never even thought about what the woman was called.

Clicking on the advert, it took me to a website. It couldn't hurt, could it?

That's how I ended up where I am now. A fancy resturant, waiting for a guy who I had never even seen before. I grew more nervous by the second, the black peplum dress hugging my slender body as I sat at the table. Number 25 it was. Maybe I shouldn't have done this, what if I couldn't go through with it. Sweat gathered on the palms of my hands as I wiped them restlessly on my dress.

"Devonne?" A deep voice with a smooth Spanish accent called my name, my head shot up to see a tall Latino man looking straight at me from the other side of the small, round table.

My heart was racing, "You must be Eduardo" I smiled nervously, standing up from my seat and shaking his hand as he gripped on to mine firmly. "It's nice to meet you"

Eduardo smiled to me in return, we sat in back our seats at the same time, "A pleasure to meet you" He told me, "So, Dev..." I must have had a confused look on my face for a few seconds before wiping it off, deciding not to question the nickname that he had given me. "I would like to get to know you a bit, then we can discuss our arrangement"

"Sounds good" I agreed, trying to be as calm and collected as I could on the outside, despite completely freaking out on the inside. He took a sip from the glass of water which stood in front of him, I couldn't help but think about how lucky I was, he was good looking. Eduardo was one of the few men on the website who didn't have any photos of himself, it made me wonder why, but then again, I didn't either.

"I see you only joined the site today, is there a reason for that?"

I nodded, "I got kicked out of home"

"That's all?"

"I'm just about to start my second year of college, they're not paying for it so I need the money" I hesitantly told the man who was somewhat intimidating. I didn't know why I felt that way considering the fact that I'm a confident woman and will usually go for what I want, when I want it.

"Makes sense" He told me, "Are you a virgin?"

I choked on my drink, "What?"

"I'll take that as a yes"

"No!" I stammered, "I'm not a virgin" I lied. Yes, maybe I had done some stuff that I wasn't proud of, but I hadn't gone all the way.
I sat  up straight, fixing my back as the silence dawned on our table. Eduardo just smiled at me as his dark brown eyes examined me, "Why are you looking at me like that?"
