Chapter 9

*Madi's POV*

I am 39 weeks pregnant and I've been getting Braxton hicks (they are like contractions but they aren't) for the past week.

Jace has been working a lot for the past month so when the baby comes he can take time off.

He's at work right now and I'm home. Im laying in bed when I start to feel really bad pain down there.

"I think theses are contractions" I say to myself

I call my mom just to be sure.

"How many minutes apart are they" my mom ask

"About 8 minutes"

"Yeah you are going into labor"

"Oh my god"

"Ok honey I'm going to pick you up right now and take you to the hospital"

"Ok I'll call Jace to tell him to meet us at the hospital"

"Ok honey I'll try and get there fast I love you baby"

"I love you too"

I hang up and go to call Jace but then a really painful one comes and I drop my phone. I breath until it's gone.

I pick my phone up and call Jace

"Hey babe"

"Jace... the baby is coming"

"Oh shit um do you need me to pick you up"

"No my mom is meet us at the hospital"

"Ok ok umm I'm on my way I love you baby"

"I love you too"

When I hang up with Jace and my mom gets here

We walk to the car and we drive to the hospital.

When we get there Jace is there.

"Baby"

Jace runs over to us. He kisses me head and a nurse comes over to us.

"Are you going into labor miss?" The nurse ask

"Yes"

"Ok we'll get you a room to check you out and see how far along are you and check on the baby"

She leads us to a room and gives me a gown and hooks me us to a bunch of stuff for the baby and me.

She does an ultrasound. To see where the baby is.

"Yup you are going into labor so we will break your water and get you in your way."

Jace takes my hand and smiles.

A doctor comes in breaks my water and we go into one of the labor rooms. Jace takes a picture of me well my belly and posted it. (⬇️)
