Chapter 18

*Madi's POV*

It's Christmas Eve and me and Jace are wrapping presents at the last minute it's about 10 pm and I'm supper tired.

I lay in Jace's lap and he plays with my hair which is making even more sleepy.

"Don't fall asleep on me now"

"Stop playing with my hair then"

I get up and lay on our bed.

"Madi"

"I'm sleepy let me sleep"

"After the present are done"

"Hey we've been engaged for a year"

"Yes we have"

"Can we get married this coming up summer"

"Like what month"

"July or August"

"Sounds good"

"Really"

"Yeah"

I get up and hug him.

"I love you"

"I love you too"

I kiss him and we finish wrapping the presents.

•Christmas day•

Me and Jace wake up to the sound of our child on the baby monitor. We both get up and get him.

"Merry Christmas baby boy"

He goes from screaming crying to jumping and smiling. I pick him up and place him on my hip. He rubs his eyes sleepily.

I see Jace recording.

"What's Daddy doing"

I point to Jace and he reaches out to him. Jace takes him and places him on his hip.

"Merry first Christmas"

I take a picture on my phone of them.

"Let's take him to the living room"

Jace carries him to the living room and sets him in front of the tree.

He looks around and I take pictures of him.

"He's so cute"

Jace picks him up off the floor and throws him up a little and he starts laughing.

"Let's eat breakfast then open presents"

"Alright"

He puts Kaden in his highchair and I cut up some strawberries and bananas and put them one the table thing connected to it.

I make me and Jace pancakes and give Kaden a couple pieces of a pancake for him and we eat.

"So you still want to get married in the summer"

"Yeah I do"

"So we need to start planning"

"Yeah we need too"

Kaden starts banging his hands on and making baby noises. I take and baby wipe bad whip his face and hands the take him out of the highchair and place him on my hip and whip off the table thing.

We go into the living room and we sit in the floor to open presents or me and Jace really opening Kaden's presents.

I have Kaden in my lap and he is basically just banging on the box till I start opening it then he gets interested in the wrapping paper and slowly rips it but ends up getting distracted by something else so we let him play and me mad Jace open each other's presents.
