Chapter 36

*Jace's POV*

Madi had the flu so I'm left to take care of her and the kids. Sadly they can't really go near her because they might get sick a specially Carter.

Right now Carter is napping and Kaden is throwing a fit.

"Kaden look at me"

He looks at me

"You are almost four years old and do you think four year old throw fits like that"

"No"

"So why are you"

"I'm sorry Daddy"

"Buddy I'm not mad but when you don't get something you want you can't throw a temper tantrum alright"

He nods and I bring him in my arms and hug him tight.

"I love you daddy"

"I love you Kaden"

I kiss his temple and he goes off to play.

I cook Madi some soup and bring it to her.

"Hey baby how you feeling"

"Like shit"

"Sorry well you want some soup"

"Sure"

I get give her the soup and she slowly eats it.

"You don't have to eat is all right baby"

"Thank you Jace"

I kiss her forehead and go back out his Kaden.

"Is mommy ok"

"Yeah she's still sick that's all"

"Can I make Mommy a card"

"I think she would love that buddy"

When I start getting the stuff out Carter starts crying.

"I'm going to get sissy you don't touch anything ok"

"Ok daddy"

I get Carter out of her crib and run her back

"Good morning baby girl"

I carry her out to were Kaden was and he didn't touch anything.

"Ok bud let gets started"

I put Carter in her chair thingy that has her reach the table and buckled her in so she doesn't move.

"Daddy you write get better mommy"

"Ok buddy"

I fold the card and wrote 'Get Better Soon Mommy" on the front and hand it back to Kaden so he can draw.

I get Carter some blueberries for her to snack on while I help Kaden. He draws scribbles on it and opens it scribbles some more puts some stickers on it and hands it back to me.

"Write I love you mommy please"

"Ok bud"

I wrote that and add 'from your baby boy Kaden'

"There you go are you done"

"No I draw on back"

He puts stickers and scribbles and he's done.

"I give to mommy now"

"Ok let's go"

He hops off the chair and I pick up Carter and we go to mine and Madi's room. We walk in and Madi looks at us.

"Hey my babies"

I put Carter on the bed and lift Kaden on it and he give Madi his card.

"Here mommy"

"Awww thank you baby"

She brings in into a hug and kisses his head.

"That made me feel so much better"

"So you can play now"

"Not today maybe tomorrow"

Kaden cuddles into Madi and she hugs him. I have Carter in my lap. Madi puts her head on my shoulder and I wrap my arm around her.

"I love you guys" she says

"We love you too" I say
