Chapter 16

*Jace's POV*

Madi has been very depressed lately all she will do I feed Kaden and change him I have to force he to eat. It sucks because I know how close her and Matt are and I couldn't imagine how she feels right now but I just have to be her shoulder to cry on.

Right now she is feeding Kaden and I'm making us lunch. She comes in the kitchen holding Kaden who is nearly 5 months old.

"Hey baby"

She gives a little smile but I can tell it's fake. She sits at the table and I give her a bowl of ramen noodles. She eats it with out fight then puts the bowl in the sink and puts Kaden on his play mate and sits on the couch.

I go and sit next to her wrap my arm around her and she puts her head on my shoulder.

"Did you forget how to talk Madz"

"No"

"Then please talk to me babe"

"Why"

"Because I miss your voice and I want to know what you are feeling so I can try and help"

"You can't help Jace you just can't and you want to know how I'm feeling like shit absolute shit my brother is dying Jace he's dying"

"But he's not dead he's not dead and he's not dying he's fighting because he loves you and he doesn't want to leave you ok Madi ok but if he does go he wouldn't want you to be crying he would want you to be.... celebrating his life not crying over it"

She looks at me and starts crying. I wrap my arms around her and rock her.

"I love you Jace so much"

"I love you too baby I love you"

We stay like that for a couple more minutes till Kaden starts crying for attention.

"We didn't forget about you baby boy"

I pick him up and hold him above my head and he laughs. Madi leans against my chest and takes Kaden and puts him on her lap and plays with him.

"Do you think he'll make"

"I sure hope he will"

Kaden falls asleep on her and she puts him into his rocker thingy and cuddles with me on the couch.

"I love you a lot Jace"

"I love you a lot too"

She leans up and gives me a kiss. She gets on top of me.

"So now it's you who wants to have sex"

"Shut up"

I kiss her and smile. I keep my hands at her waist.

"Wow you are not grabbing my ass"

"I will grab more than your ass"

"Will you now"

She kisses me again and this time I put my hands on her butt. She starts to grind on me.

"Madison Grace are you trying to have sex with me"

"Nope just teasing you getting you hard then stopping is my plan"

I pick her up and she wraps her legs around me waist and start walking to our room.

"Wait the baby"

She unwraps her legs from me but I still hold her.

"Jace put me down"

"I can't wait to move into the house so he has his own room and we can have sex"

"One more month baby"

I put her on the floor but keep my hand around her waist and hug her. I'm happy she's her self again.
