"Alright so Alex says she'll be here in a little while. She and Maggie are getting food." Kara smiles.
She changed into a navy blue sweater and black skinny jeans. She kept her hair down and put on some black rimmed glasses.

"Right, with her girlfriend.." I grumble.
"What was that?" She asks innocently.
"Nothing!" I call out. "So why the change of outfit?"
"Well you know, Alex is my adoptive sister. My earth name is Kara Danvers. Now Kara Danvers dresses like this." She says proudly.
"Ok but the glasses?" I tease, taking them off her head and putting them on.
"Its part of the disguise. Kinda gives off the clumsiness of Kara Danvers that you'd never think she's Supergirl." She shrugs.
"I don't know about that. Supergirl is beautiful and I can say that Kara Danvers is too, if not more." I wink at her.
She blushes and rolls her eyes. I laugh at the gesture and I loose up with my new friend.
"Well it's true! You're gorgeous." I shrug.
"Well thank you." She smiles.
"So Alex has a girlfriend?" I blurt out.
Kara looks at me eyes wide and in a second regains her composure.
"Yeah, Maggie, they've been together for a few months. There's no issue with that, is there?" She looks at me with a questioning look.
"Oh no, I mean, an island full of women, there was bound to be relations. I even had a few. I was just wondering." I start rambling.
Kara nods at my explanation and I take a breath.
"I was honestly just wondering. Alex is a beautiful woman, I'm glad someone sees that." I sigh, hiding my sadness.
"Yeah I guess that's one way to look at it." Kara wanders off.
"What do you mean?" I ask.
Before she could answer, there's knock on the door. Kara smiles and yells that they're here. I watch Kara run to the door as I keep my back turned so I can prepare myself. I hear Kara greet her sister and her sister's girlfriend. I take a deep breath and turn around.
The deep breath I took was completely gone the second I looked at Alex. She's wearing a simple brown sweater that she made look so simple and elegant, skinny jeans in her already skinny legs that made them look like neverending.
In the DEO, there was a hardness and a focused in her eyes, the second she walked in the room, there was a playfulness and a spark of happiness in her eyes that I hoped it was of having a fun night with her sister and friends than the thought of it being because her lover is in the room.
